  2. Hello, I am renting a server now have ACE installed. For me to update ACE I must currently delete the files and reinstall the newst version. Since the people I rent the server from do not have ACE updater running and I have to do it myself I wonder is there an easier way? If anyone knows of any that would be very helpful. It takes several hours for me to update and it gets crazy uploading files and deleting the from an FTP. Thanks for your time, Mike.
  3. Hello, I am trying to get a dedicated server to run ACE2 and Mando. I am renting the server and it worked great one regular arma but now I want to convert it. I have a command line changing tool under the TCA console. If anyone has experience and could shine some light on this for me that would be great, I have uploaded all of the ACE files and Mando files to the server and went to the command line changer and selected "-mod=" for the value I entered @CBA;@ACE;@ACEX;@ACEX_SM;@ACEX_PLA;@mma;@mma_xeh; which compiles a total command line of -Server -config=server.cfg -port=2302 -download -logFile=Server.log -mod=@CBA;@ACE;@ACEX;@ACEX_SM;@ACEX_PLA;@mma;@mma_xeh; That line works fine on my client, but when I start the server, it doesn't show up, nor can I connect remotely. If anyone has any input that would be greated. Submitted support ticket, but community support is better. Thanks, Mike.

    My issue was not copying the userconfig folder over along with the ace folders. Woops. Thanks for the replys. Mike.
  5. @Mando Thanks for the reply. I wasn't looking for a specific loadout, I was simply trying to see if such a parameter was enabled (to change the loadout, custom). I was just confused I believe, I now see that it needs to be done mission side; I will tinker with it to see what I can do. As for working towards in mission customization of your loadout, that would be a phenominal addition to an already great mod. Thanks, Mike.
  6. Hello, This is a fantastic Mod. It is a blast using it. That said I have a question. I have this mod running on my server, not by scripting or mission integration but simply but including @mma;@mma_xeh in the command line. It all works great but I am looking for a way make customized loadouts. For example I landed a hind and attempted to rearm but only could choose default. I saw this in the read-me but am a little confused: "There is another global var named mando_weapon_master which is set to false by default, set it to true to access to more weapon and magazines so you cancreate your own configurations instead of using the pre-created ones." Is this a variable I set to TRUE in a script that resides within one of the PBOs? If so which PBO and subsquently which file? Or is this somthing that needs to be done specifically to the mission for it to work? I would rather avoid editing the mission if possible and only edit the server-side files but I will if it is required. Any input is much appreciated. Thanks, Mike.

  9. @Evil Trailing semicollon hasn't made a difference. Someone else suggested I try to eliminate it and did so. Wierd...I will wait to hear back from the support ticket. Thanks, Mike.

    Unfortunately that didn't work. I will leave it like so though until I figure somthing out, thanks for the reply. Could it be a config related issue? Do you have to configure anything special in the config for running mods?
  14. Hi Guys question on getting a sever going with this mod. I have had a regular server running now that I rent for some time, it works just fine. I uploaded the ACE files and CBA then proceeded to change the command line. Now it doesn't show up for some reason. Do I have to edit the config at all to tell the server anything else??? -Server -config=server.cfg -port=2302 -download -logFile=Server.log -mod=@CBA;@ACE;@ACEX;@ACEX_SM;@ACEX_PLA;@mma;@mma_xeh; That is my command line, but for some reason I cant connect, either remotely or through the server browser. It doesn't even show up when this line is selected, but works fine when I revert to the original. Any input would be appreciated.

  17. Can anyone help me disable radio chatter in this? I have 1.1.87 and can not for the life of me figure it out. I have tried the inset key as it says to lower volume and that does not work, I simply want to turn it off completely. Thanks, Mike.
  18. I am having trouble utilizing some of the devices in ACE at this current version. If anyone has any issues with the following items or perhaps could enlighten me on their correct usage that would be great; M4SLAM and M2SLAM; Both of these have no model when placed. As when satchels or mines are placed, also this does not have a detinate or time setting option, or an option to pick it up. I tried driving a vehicle over them (or where I thought I placed them but nothing happened so I assume the magnetic trigger is not working either?). Spotting scope; I get in the spotting scope as gunner with no problem, but am not able to look through the scope. Laser Range finder; Reload a battery, look through, left click to turn on the laser with a little green circle, but after that nothing happens. It seems to only have a similar use of the Laser designator as nothing is displayed showing a range. Can anyone comment or confirm these error for me?] Thanks, Mike.

  20. Hello. I have been searching but to no avail. Is there any ACE documentation that explains what the weapons associated with each vehicle do. IE how they work and what they are effective against? I only ask because now, some T-series and other Tanks and Armor carry a myriad of munitions that are baffling as to their usage. I didn't see any of this one the Wiki and I could look up each in Google, but I am more concerned with their pertinence to this particular Mod. Thanks, Mike.
  21. GL4 effects seem to work just fine. I am not sure about the nature of the AI scripting.
  22. Hi. The mod is getting better and better. I do have a question though, as the Mod becomes more indepth it seems too are the capacities of the vehicles in terms of combat capability. I see now multiple munitions in several vehicles mostly ground heavy armor and some with the air. Is there a wiki that explains the characteristics of each of these weapsons by vehicle? It is difficult to know what is it in some cases, IE which load will suit the expected engagement. Thanks, Mike.
