  1. I think its just because the game is (on the face of it) to complicated and too "hard core" to use that awful term

I love it, you love it but Joe public? I can see why they may not.

Its also not published by EA, microsoft etc with the budget and platform to make it well known.

Also whats a bit sad is that im guessing dragon rising sold more?? I got it free with my i7 processor but cant even get through the first mission it blows so bad! Arma 2 is such a superior product.

  2. Hi Guys,

I watched the third developer diary and it shows you holding down control and issuing multiple movement commands that the AI squad will then follow in sequence.

When i hold down control and issue commands they just follow the last one rather than stacking them up.

    What am i doing wrong?!

    Thanks guys, much appreciated!

  3. Im just messing about in the editor until they fix it.

Well i would do but i dont feel until i play through the campaign i dont feel comfortable going online. I have had to restart the same mission four times now with a total play time of about 3-4 hours which is making it a bit of a chore. (save game problems, pilot (!) problems etc)

Absolutely love it when it comes together though so im keeping the faith!

Im guessing online is pretty hardcore/experienced players? I might give it a try anyway.

  4. Hey guys,

I just got a GTX 295 and am getting awful performance in ArmA II.

    Full specs:

    Vista x64 Ultimate SP1

    Q6600 GO @ 3.2Ghz

    4 GB DDR2

    Asus P5N-T Deluxe

    Antec CP-850 PSU

    Zotac GTX 295 (Single PCB)

190.38 drivers (was the same with 186.16 and ArmA 2 profile patch)

In the 3rd mission (the city) i get around 20fps with:

    1680x1050 with 2xAA, 8xAF, Visability 1530

Texture normal, Video Memory Very High,

    Terrain Normal, Objects Normal,

    Shadow high, Postpross effects High

Am i right in saying that that is awful performancefrom my set up?? Im wondering if the card needs to be RMA'd!

    Heres a GPU-Z for reference

Does the GPU-z readings look right?

    Thanks
