IRL when I'm crouching of course I know it but in the game it's not always clear. We should have an icon of our character that shows the stance we are in. Of course we could turn this on/off in the options.
-
When running and hitting crouch we should do a sliding animation to go to cover just like in America's Army.
-
I know it must be a great experience, but is the fact that you don't have to press ALT, for one game, is worth 230$? From what I saw in this thread, people turn off a function because it doesn't do well in the game and they must bind a key to reset the view so there's still a key to use.
And can you answer the second part of my previous post?

I saw that yesterday but I only play one game in that list. I never even heard of most of the other games. But I understand why there's isn't a lot of games. Not many FPS allow the free look like Arma 2. In fact I can't think of another one.
If a game isn't in that list, it won't be possible to map a command to TrackIR? GTA4 would be great with TrackIR but it's not in the list so it wouldn't work?

It's that price on the website but it's in USD and it doesn't include shipping. Very expensive for 1 game.
-
It's been proven to be wrong that it's worth 230$? Which page?
-
An engagement and involvement that's worth 230$?

What is the difference between the normal clip and the pro clip? One is used on a cap and the other on headphones?
And since you always have to look at the screen when you move your head, it doesn't add realism. It adds a second way to control the game but it doesn't enhance realism. IRL when I move my head my eyes also move, and it's obviously impossible on a PC since you couldn't see the game...
Don't get me wrong, I think that gadget is awesome and I'll probably buy it but I want to know your point of view.

What other game uses the TrackIR in a way as good as for Arma 2? It looks cool for Arma2 but paying 150$ US for one game seems a lot and I don't plan to use many planes or choppers so it would only be used when I'm on foot... I don't know another game that allows the player to move his head like in Arma 2. Worth the money?

It's called a contextual action and all games that have it are handling it just fine.
-
Why play it on console then.
-
lol yeah.
-
It's remapped to spacebar since that's the key to jump over things in all other games. They just need to correct the animation bug and it will be fine.
-
I disabled the mouse steering in the controls since the WASD already does that.
-
Well, it looks silly, it's useless and it makes the enemy spot you if you hit it by accident.
-
Is it possible to enable free look by default when in a car? I understand that when on foot I must press ALT to be able to free look because the mouse is already used for aiming but in a car the mouse serves no other purpose so why do I have to push ALT then move the mouse?

I can't see how it would be playable on console. All the keys of my keyboard are used 1 or even 2 times, the 10 buttons controller of a console won't be able to hold that.
-
Since the demo and now in the complete game when I click on "previous" or "next" in the controls mapping screen the game crashes. I then have to start it again and change the dozens of controls one by one.
-
When I press the "Step over" button and I'm not near a wall, my character still does the stepping over animation and he looks like he floats in the air. The animation must not be played if I am not near a wall.

I saw that video many times but my previous questions still stand.
