    Hello, is it normal that I was never able to issue specific orders to my squad? In the coop campaign (Manhattan so far) and in the single player scenarios I can't give orders that are in the menu 1, menu 3 (open fire, engage) and menu 7 (stealth, danger, go prone, etc), I am only able to use some of the command menu (move there, regroup, etc) and the formations menu. The other orders are grayed out. Is it normal?

    Try this:

    "C:\somePath\Arma 2\Arma2.exe" -nosplash -world=empty

    -nosplash will skip the advertisings but if you just use this it will still takes a long time to load because the game loads the menu background at the same time at it displays advertisings

    -world=empty will skip the loading of the menu background (carrier/island) to display only water

    With both commands, it will load in 4 seconds and you'll be ready to play.

    I'm still looking to skip the #1 and #3 messages tho.

    Edit: I found a -window but there is no -fullscreen equivalent and the -window doesn't even work, it still asks for fullscreen/windowed

    Hello.

    1- How can I always start the game in fullscreen to bypass the box with the choice between fullscreen/windowed at the start of the game?

    2- What command/manipulation can I use to skip the intro videos, logos and credits at the start of the game?

    3- How can I remove the ESRB notice when I click multiplayer. I KNOW the game experience might change, I don't want to be told 10 times a day.

    I'm doing the campaing with a friend. Today we were doing the mission where we have to find 2 dudes, Bolsak and Loptev or something like that. After restarting like 15 times (no exaggeration) because of the stupid bots getting killed by our chopper or because of the retarded pilot that crashes his heli while landing in a large flat zone or because of the dozens of bugs and CTD we were very annoyed that we had to restart from the beginning every time, go talk to the guy that marks the zone on the map, go talk to the other guy 3 miles away, etc. so we decided to cheat "endmission" because, seriously, it sucked going around doing nothing and restarting all the time. We did the next mission with the bikes and it took 5min (what's the point of that mission?).

    We are now on the Manhattan mission where we can do several objectives. The problem is that when it says "saving game" it doesn't actually works all the time and we now have to restart the mission from the beginning, losing a lot of time and giving us rage and murder intent. The last time we tried, we found the redhead girl (Antonia?) and while trying to board the chopper for evac she killed herself by hitting her head on the landing gears... WTF!?

    So HOW the HELL do we SAVE the game so we don't have to restart each time and watch 5 min of talking/transport video before starting to play the mission?!?! Why is the "save" button not there in coop campaign??? Why the saves don't work??? Anyone tested and approved this game before selling it??? Was that guy fired???

    I never lost an argument because I never argued. I was asking questions and I got answers. It's important to ask question before buying such an expensive gadget. Most people understood and answered, like Barred. But others only want to be rude and troll, evading all questions and insulting, like you.

    What makes you think that? Where do you think that eBay seller got his TIR products from?

    If Bob buys a TrackIR for $200 from the official website, then I buy a TrackIR for $200 from the official website. They make $400.

    If Bob buys a TrackIR for $200 from the official website, then I buy Bob's TrackIR on eBay. They make $200...

    I thought it was obvious.

    It would be nice if the game could disable the movements and other keys when we're typing a message in the chat. I found it strange when I saw that you could move while typing in Arma 2 since in all other games I played it didn't have that problem. It often almost got me killed when I was typing then I moved forward in the open field... And it's really anoying when we type and the watch, the compass and everything pops up in the screen.
