    Hello,

    I bought this game at release but I only played for a couple of hours before uninstalling it, mainly because of the cheating AI. Now it's been a long time since then and I was looking at my Steam games and I was wondering if there was any improvement made?

    - Can the AI suddenly see a player moving proned in grass?

    - If I'm lying in the grass, not moving, and shooting at an AI, will he instantly know exactly where I am ?

    - If that was not improved, is it any different in the expansion?

    However check PR Mod out and read about it. I think its right up your alley. Skipping reading about it and forgetting about ARMA2 might be a huge mistake on your part since it seems to be exactlly what you want.

    I checked and I saw "beta", so it doesn't change anything to me since I can't play it.

    I don't want a game exactly like BF2, I just mentioned BF2 because I want to play a "vs" mode, like in BF, not coop.

    You speak the truth. These are only some of the reasons i never touched MP.

    I stay on BC2 MP. ArmaII can have possibilitys and realism in tons, but it doesnt help if its not working out right at all. Now im wating for Arrowhead and Patch for AI Fixes, then im back making SP missions.

    Well, I guess I should try BC2 after all. Thanks!

    Hello,

    I played Arma II at the release and I though it was great except for a couple of things:

    - Cheating AI that can see through grass

    - Poor multiplayer choices

    - Poor multiplayer browser

    - Gamebreaking bugs

    So, is the AI still cheating? Is it now possible to join "BF2-like" games with 2 teams shooting each other or are we still stuck with that mode (conquest I think?) with every human being in the same team and fighting AI? Did they fix the browser so it's fast, readable and accurate?

    - Play games where you murder hundreds of people in the battles

    - Play games where you drive like criminals and crush people in the streets

    - Play games where you can cut limbs and mutilate people

    BUT don't you dare swear in these games and don't forget to beep the cussing in the late shows on TV...

    Place yourself in a BI dev shoes. You are making a game, then come the big bosses, they want money and they want it now. You release an unfinished product full of bugs and missing features, everybody panic and make bad critics. Now your job is to finish the game by making patches. You'd want to come here and face the angry customers to post your work's news? I wouldn't.

    I don't see what you mean by A and B buttons Joan, you also posted this in another post:

    I have found that while pushing A button, combined with B button and running in any direction may also help.

    While assaulting an enemy city, I ordered my teammates to push A button while I pushed B button. The main problem with this was none of my teammates were pushing B button, I was the only one. We failed that mission, but we had a second go; we all pushed A button and B button while running to the north (it also works while running to the North-west, South-west, South-east, and East). The result was a delightful victory for our team, many civilians were saved!

    If you are playing alone with AI, I suggest only using B button, and if you can, double-tab the C button. Remember the directions you must face in order to be succesfull

    What the hell are you talking about? What A, B and C button?
