  1. Hey Shay, I just want to say again how awesome MCC is, and that my unit relies on it completely for our operations now. That said, I wanted to ask if there's a way to permanently change the default mission AI settings. A lot of guys that use MCC have the bad habit of forgetting to change them from 60/Rookie/40/60 before starting to spawn enemies. If it's not possible now, would there be any chance in possibly making an optional userconfig file for MCC that lets you do this for yourself? Additionally, an issue I've noticed with trying to spawn counter-attacks: -I create a zone and spawn a squad -I give the squad a "full speed, aware" waypoint to the area I want attacked -They walk as slow as possible and never get there Lastly, another request - Can you make it so the red dot that the 3d editor creates is togglable? I use the 3d editor to watch guys when I'm making missions but they can see the little red dot on the ground, which is immersion breaking for them.

    ARMA 3 Addon Request Thread

    I have a request for what will be a pretty damned cool mod: A 60mm M224 Knee Mortar System. The mortars in vanilla and ACE for ArmA 2 weren't that great. The vanilla were too easy to use and the ACE were much too hard and and took too long to set-up, adjust, and fire. I'd like to see a knee mortar as an object you drop on the ground from your backpack(weighted appropriately) and has a firing system much like the 40mm grenade launchers. PGUP and PGDN would increase it's range in 50m increments from 100-1000m. The rounds are carried by and dropped in by the shooter.   6. Sorry I spoke out of turn. I should have said "possibly eventually". It's not my mod. My involvement in it is/was conception, advisor, and input. I'm not actually making it so I cannot promise features, that's deeply unfair to Riouken. Making it operable by opfor has been discussed as a post-release feature, but it's not a definite.
  7. There are already a couple of extremely comprehensive printed ArmA editor manuals. There is one for ArmA 2 and almost everything from the ArmA 2 editor applies to ArmA 3.

    Hey Phoenix. I just wanted to let you know that buckshot loads will put all pellets inside of a man sized target up to 25 yards, and most pellets will still be on target out to 50 yards. I noticed in your video that the pellet spread had most pellets off target already at around 10 yards.

  16. I can take control of the Darter just fine(have to pack it, pick it up, and unpack it first), but I can't take control of the Stomper. The closest I can get is to sit inside the seat and use the UAV Terminal interface, but then I can't give it waypoints or take direct control. Any help? EDIT: Of course I accidentally figured it out less than 1 minute after posting this: You must -NOT- use the "empty" faction when placing the Unmanned Autonomous Vehicles. You must use a "manned" version located under your corresponding faction's editor lists. For example, instead of using Empty-Autonomous-Darter(NATO), you must use NATO-Autonomous-Darter(Nato) and it must be blue on the map, not yellow and empty. Hope this helps anyone else with this problem!

  19. I came here to post this and saw it already posted. I can't give group waypoints via the group generator anymore. I can't even move their zone to have them move. Nothing I can do once a group is spawned will make them move to a new area :( Is there a workaround for this? Also, shay, who did your YouTube video intro? It looks amazing!

    Switching weapons on the move

    Hey wolf I'm not sure if you even realize that you've done this, but this mod ALSO corrects the problem of starting to reload your rifle and going "oh shit i need to switch to my pistol instead" and hitting your pistol swap button, but the rifle reload animation finishing anyways. It now interrupts the rifle reload and switches straight to your pistol. Amazing even if accidental!

  22. Sabre please update this amazing mod! It's the primary unit mod that me and my group use but it's causing all sorts of errors now :p Or are you waiting on final A3 release?
  23. I am renting a server and they are claiming that the server.armaprofile is unavailable because "it's alpha". Is this correct or should I be able to access the server profile? Is there a way to create a profile in a different location via the -profile= command?
  24. Greetings fellow ArmAholics. I have made a range/showcase map for all to enjoy. It can either be played in single player or co-op(4 players, 3 blufor, 1 greenfor).
