  1. Hi guys!

    We have some error spamming our server .rpt and i think it could be related to one of the alive modules. Anyboy have any idee what it could be or where to search/test?

    Not all units are profiled, and we are running a separat spawnscript for all vehicles. Im not shure if it that could be the reason.

    All military placements on opfor side is running force weighting: random

    had been awesome if one of in the ALiVE team would had time to take a look.

    (think the "soldier[O_Soldier_AR_F]:Some of magazines weren't stored in soldier Vest or Uniform?" error is related to our vas mod. i think)

    Any feedback is appreciated here :-)

  2. Hi, i have been doing some missions for a while now in A1,A2 and A3, and one thing i have never been getting right is how to sorting/listing the fireteams correct for the lobby. I allways ending up going inside the mission.sqm and moving the content between the class items (player slots) and listing them in correct order alpha 1,2,3,4, bravo 1,2,3,4, charlie 1,2,3,4 , delta 1,2,3,4 etc...)

    My question is, how to define and change the automatically generated fireteam names in the list?

    In this example i have two fireteams, both alpha (fireteam 1 and 2)....

    Normaly i mean it should look like this:

    Alpha 1-1

    • Alpha 1-1

    Alpha 2-2

    • Alpha 2-2

    and so on...

    But, instead i get this after saving and exporting the mission to MP:

  3. Il say BITS have made some reatared AI's. Whats the point releasing a new series when you play against some f*cking handicapped robots running blind. Zeus AI did well with some tweeking, but no luck yet get them to spot you in a normal distance, nor to get ALiVE ai's work with thees "physically" or "mentally" disabled retard'ed robots. We have now used 3 weeks trying to get acceptable and normal ai behaviour, and il have to say it again, goin from ACE A2 to A3 is no upturn to put it that way. We are going TVT from here with no robots in A3. All AI including gameplay will take place on a different platform forward, unfortunately. Love your concept with Alive, and MSO for A2. Wish you good luck :-)


  4. ok, the stock ai are stupid as f*ck and i is realy not playable for us who have left ACE and A2 as a realism community. With Zeus ai they do well with some tweeking, but we are talking retarded robots default form BIS here... Im trying to get your mod to work with the ALiVE mod, no succsess so far.

    One more thing, when setting the custom skills settings. I can se that it default says: "minimum abilty= 0.2" and "maximum ability = 0.25", and some fields under when placing the AIskill module(default) have over the "maximum ability" value, for ex. "aim shake=0.9".

    Thes numbers are only random placed, and if getting the random skills work prop, with min=0.2 and max=0.25 you should place values between 0.2 - 0.25, right?

    Dosen't the these AI skills values vary between a range from 0.000000 to 1.000000.

  6. Experiencing exactly the same as SpectreRSG. In addition, it is strange to see when AI infiltrate each other as they go completely into each other before first shot is performed. Light infantery is ridiculous and impossible to make any difference with the "AI Skill" module. We have now tweaked the paramters up and down several days with no luck. The most annoying is that we physically have to stand on the head on the AI before they shoot at us at all. I will say that Arma 3 is not good at all when it comes to AI behavior. Ridiculous that something new will be worse than what where the standard yesterday. Long live ArmA2 !

    Thanks for your advice. Its connected via. USB3. l will def. try moving it over to a USB2 port.

    ah, no luck switching from USB3 to USB2. I did allso turn off usb legacy with no success. This could be a ArmA3 problem or a driver interfering with the Hotas Warthog Joystick and throttle. Last I see as unlikely as it works fine in other games without problems.

  8. Hi, I can not use my joystick in ArmA 3 without problems. When I open the game, I can see the device in the "configurate -> Controls" with my TrackIR. And out of nowhere, if I joins a MPserver, the device disappears from the game and it's impossible to use, until I restart the game. Sometimes it works without problems .. but it is only a matter of time before we speak plane crash and the unit is absent in the game... My TrackIR works without problems.

    Anyone experiencing the same? Or should i accept this is to be fixed after beta and launch 12.of Septmber :confused:

  9. Hi! Will say that i love your map here IceBreakr. One thing im wondering about doe, have converted the TFOR and MSO mission to our own vers. to the Squad of mine, and having a little problem since we are playing with out any kind of markers, we are using compas and DAGR (grids / coordinates) to navigate on the map. I have see that we are not able to use the BIS/ACE tools regarding to this since your map only show 6 digit grid in the DAGR tool instead of 8. Im almost 100% shure that its not mission related since i have tested this in editor with a clean inti.sqf and mission.sqm file. Hope to get some advice from either you or somone else to fix this, since we will still use your great map for our task force..

  10. Big problem. Helping a guy over ts3 in our clan to get his newly installed sixupdater to arma oa/2 to work for him. Every thing loads fine til it comes to the browser window. its nothing showing up, with other words its not loading any thing. No firewall, no antivirus, tryed the

    Web-client doesn't start / chcp errors.

    Now, what shall we do about this?
