(Dom.) it just hangs up and waiting for host. Can it be one of the mods? Somthing like this appears after stoping the server/restarting sometimes.     having the same problem here. I just cant join my own server after adding ACE2 to it.     ArmA II Dedicated server + addons help

    Hi! Im renting server from gamservers.com. We have Arma2 up to go with the latest version ARMA2Patch_105_to_107. But we struggling violently to get ACE2 to run. It is Currently running @ CBA; @ ACE; @ ACEX on the server. But im getting an error msg when trying to join the server: Files "@acex_sm\addons\acexpla_c_formz_core.pbo", "@acex_sm_c_sound_men.pbo" etc.etc are not signed by key accepted on this server. To play on this server, remove listd files or install additonal accepted keys. What is wrong?
  8. Hi! I have searched through the forum and other simular sites for a critical problem in a mission we are making for a newly started public server. The meaning here is more a hybrid between Domination and Warfare as we all know well. I am quite fresh in terms of scripting, and have chosen to use good functioning scripts from different people out there when my knowledge stops, all good so far :pray:. The idea is more like a ''warfare game'' without pvp. Style of play is in other words coop(dom.)(AI's spread throughout the hole map) with different missions on the way. Used some time to placing multiple AI's/groups in editor, with and without waypoints around over the map based on different missions, but now I need a spawn function who can solve my BIG headache this days, with other words lag and bugs when game is running on the server.. I've tried several scripts, and even decreased the number of AI's, but have not achieved usable stability. When playing the mission with 3 players, it takes about 5 mins to get up the action menu(change view dist. grass details etc.) hehe :D . The one i use now, but unfortunately does not solve the problem is the "Cached Units with Vehicle Support script" http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=10103&highlight=CACHED Understand here that I have have to mutch stuff / Enemy AI's spread out on the map course(Chernarus). I think its about 800 units over the hole map when using a counter. But this should not be a problem i think :confused: Is there something(script/trigger's/code) to solve my problem out there? Server running an i7 960 @ 4,0Ghz, so there should be more than enough cpu power anyway. Appreciate your input in advance! Cheers

And with this im sitting now at the moment and try to merge a script in to my mission that i think might solve the problem. I have almost zero knowledge of scripting, but begins to see connections to a certain understanding of what things in script's & coding are doing. When, what and where :P Chek this out.     Triggers and Spawn

    Hi guys! Im trying to find a good solution to me and my frind's clan-server(coop/pvp). We decided to do things themselves(script's) instead of going ''the Domination way''. We have copied and use some scripts course, which occasionally from Xeno's projects(the best! respect). All is done, without a simple action menu to set view distance and some other stuff(markers on map etc.etc.) that we're working on at the moment, think it will go smoothly that part. BUT the challenge we face now is that we have too much stuff / Enemy AI's spread out on the map(Chernarus). I'm trying to find a way to get trigged areas that are activated when the players penetrate them. Search'ed around, both here and on other forums, but can not find a good solution we can use to this problem. The best thing i think will be to alsow manage to get a type of timer in the very area where the trigger is placed so that if one chooses not to play there anymore, the things one wants to appear through the trigger, disappear. Say after 30 min or so. Will work on it over the weekend and il give u guys a message here if I find any good solution. Sry my English, hope you guys understand.. Cheers

  13. Thx! No, DXredist was not the problem her. Im running my OS as admin... I can imagine that it might have something with the install of the sound-card(internal SoundMAX) driver before the DXSDK_Feb10 are applied. I do have hdmi cabel to my LED monitor. But The difference between the installs is that i did install the soundMAX soundcard first, the first time from a fresh copy of windows7, and the second, alsow from a fresh copy of Win.7 (ARMA2 WORKING) was that i installed the DXSDK_Feb10 before the sound driver. Im not a computer geek, but after failing maybe 5 - 10 times, this solved my problem. Hope others how still get the error msg. can try somthing simular, and see if that will fix the prob. c:\windows\system32\X3DAudio1_6.dll are either not designed to runs under Windows, or contains an error. Try reinstall the original installation media or contact your system administrator or software vendor for assistance. Hehe, easy.. But i took me 19 hours of constant troubleshooting :P Phuuh

Im testing different ways to fix this problem, so right now i have reinstalled windows 7, and the first thing i did after installing the newest Nvidia driver to my GTX295 card, is to install the DXSDK_Feb10. Im now 2min from finishing the install of Arma2 from cd. Now that i have a fresh windows7 without any soundcard drivers installed besides the one who was brought with the install of windows, i will now try to update Arma2 with the 1.05 update. When this is done, i will tell if i succeed! Then maybe this will help you guys who have the same problem. wait for result. out,- - The guys on Bohemia suport said to me via. e-mail to try driver cleaner SW instead of Device Manager. It did not work for me. - If this does not work either.... The only way i can think out will solve the problem is to uninstall the DXSDK_Feb10. file, and after that disable the soundcard in device mangaer, and try to install it again. And here is the copy of the answer after sending them my dxdiag: Hello, as you probably guessed, problem is with audio drivers, please un-install them (use driver cleaner SW), install them again, regards I have now done what he said 4 - 6 times, and still no posetive results.. Seems like this is a going to be a permanent problem.   16. Maybe you shuld come up with something more inovative? The DXSDK_Feb1 has been downloaded and installed. As I write, this solution has NOT removed the error message..
  17. Tried to solve the problem every way now. The rest is beyond my competence level. Still no positive results. Since this X3Daudio1_6.dll file has relationships with DirectX, I tried to uninstall DirectX 11, which is still in the system, after I downloaded and installed the files in the first post in this thread (I found it out by running dxdiag) The way I removed DirectX11 was as followd: To uninstall DirectX 11 Do this, open the Registry Editor by running Regedit from Start> Run. Next, navigate the two Following registry key. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ DirectX. Delete this DirectX folder, exit the Registry Editor and restart your PC. When this was done I installed Directx9 and DX10, but did not succeed to open Arma2 with this opperasjonen either. Looks like its not possible to run the Bohemia Interactive's ArmA2 on my computer. Bad, because this is a 6 760 U.S. dollars system... All answers to my problem will be helpful(maybe). Now I have to format/install Windows again to get the system to function perfectly, again.   18. Finally a response! I will start by explaining my inproper language. It was obviously pointless of me to use ugly words, but after a total of 15 hours of constant work to resolve this pointless problem, given to finish aggression override. It is of course something I will not do again. With this, I apologize, and I regret in retrospect! Back to my problem, which I here on this thread share with some others it seems like... I have done all this thread asking for, and i alsow had to format, and reinstall windows 7 because I followed the advice of another forum where I was going to edit into the system32 folder. not very smart, exactly........ to the long-term frustration I stand in the same place. What should I do? PS: I managed to delete my post, I should of course done this straight away.   19. Hi Folks! Now I have tried everything as described on first thread here. I still receive the same error message. I installed a new copy of arma2(NOT A DEMO) and 105 update, Running Windows7 64bit. Have SoundMAX onboard sound card, and have done everything from uninstalling the driver, to disable the sound card. Has no head clue about how to resolve this, when all that is described here has been tried. My Hardware: -Asus P6T7 WS Supercomputer -Core i7 960 -EVEGA GTX 295 co-op -Corsair Dominator DHX+ DDR3 1600MHz 6GB -Corsair DOMINATOR Airflow Fan -Corsair HX 1000W PSU -1*Intel X25-M SSD 80GB (Windows 7 Ultimate) -4*WD Caviar Black 1TB Anybody have any suggestions? in advance, thanks!
