  1. Download all dayz files from here http://www.mediafire.com/dayz Make a new folder in your steam OA installasjon folder named @dayz. Inside @dayz folder make a folder named: addons . unpack all dayz files from mediafire link and copy them into @dayz>addons folder. Start with Sixupdater and play. (make a new preset with the DayZ server of your choice) NB! You have to manually update Dayz files. So check above link, everytime before you play or when the server tells you, for updated files.

    Is this still valid: "This is not the final release, we do have a few little plans down the road still to come." Will there be any updates to this mod, or is 1.1 the finale one?
  8. Micro management of the AI in that way is not efficent in this game. Even if you was able to line them all up properly, when the shit hits the fan they would be all over the place facing every direction. And half of your squad would probably be on the wrong side of the berm. If you have Operation Arrowhead you should get a 'take cover' option when you aim at threes, stonewalls , buildings and other objects. (don't work at hills, crests etc, only objects) You will see a green line that indicate where your troops will take cover.   9. I have got the exact same problem. Out of the blue I could not connect to my squad server. I get errors like: ErrorMessage: Warning: preNLOD format in object ca\wheeled_e\v3s\v3s_open.p3d Wrong signature for file D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\pmc\addons\video_pmc.pbo I do a verify game cache in steam on OA and it download 1.4Gb of data every time. I can do this in an endless loop it seems. I have also reinstalled OA + BAF and PMC but to no help. After steam has finished download and install, it's back to the game verify download 1.4Gb loop. Normal Arma 2 works without problems. I have run disk diagnostics to check that the drive has no errors. All my other steam games at the same harddrive works fine.

  11. Can anyone confirm this? Place an empty Chinook CH4 [bAF] on any map. Start up the engines and enter 3rd person view or exit the helicopter without turning the engines off. Every 4-5 seconds a ugly screeching sound will be played either from engine or rotor sounds. Tested in arma CO + BAF and PMC without any mods. patch 1.60, no beta.

  14. Healing animations seem to have broken. Sometimes no animation are played. Other times the wounded and the person healing are sliding/moving across the ground. So if you start to heal when in cover, you can end up 3 meter away when the healing is complete.

    Multiple "No entry..." errors

    I had the same thing. I removed the beta install and reinstalled full game then it worked properly. If the installer was supposed to remove beta, it don't work as intended.

    New Computer random crashes

    If you have installed all that crap that comes with the Asus MB, all the extra programs such as power managment and all the other stuff on the cd. Then try to remove everything except the main drivers, that solved alot of CTDs on my system. If you haven't already, run a verify cache integrity check on your arma files in steam. You can also check your RPT log to see if there is any errors, and post them here. C:\Users\yourpcusername\AppData\Local\ArmA 2/ArmA 2 OA

    You have to land in a certain heading. Just turn your helicopter within the two yellow lines at the compass and they should step off. EDIT: nvm didn't read your last line.

    As you can see in the video I almost landed my self before I remembered I was supposed to let them fast rope down :) This is a very small portion of the map. I flew maybe 20-25 cliks in a straight line, the whole map is 60 kilometers times 60 kilometeres.:D hehe yes, he took the fast way down

    searchlight/flir?

    How do you access the FLIR system? I have tried all positions in the FLIR heli, but get no option to activate it. Nothing in the action menu or with N-key.
