  1. Just so you know, the 3Cdo Bde TRF is worn on the left sleeve these days, rather than the right. Reference arctic kit, a version with cam white trousers and an MTP jacket would be mega. The units are looking very nice though Bravo, and the versions with t-shirts in place of the UBACS are a nice addition.
  2. Project: UK Forces did exactly that back in OFP using hiddenselections.
  3. Yes mate it's that; it just gets worse the quicker you go.
  4. Aplion, I'm still getting the "No entry 'bin\config.bin/cfgmovesmalesdr/States/Stryker_dead.connectfrom.' " error running Vanilla A3 Stable branch. Here's a screenshot: http://imgur.com/doxLQQJ With regards to rocking on the suspension, it begins above 75kph but worsens around 85kph+.
  5. Nice work porting these over Aplion, it's much appreciated amongst the British ArmA community. A couple of bugs have cropped up in testing though: Myself and a couple of VCB'ers are getting the following error message - "No entry config.bin/cfgmovesmalesdr/States/Stryker_dead.connectfrom." Above 75kph, the MWMIKs begin to bounce from side to side on their suspension (the vehicles stay on the ground however.) The vehicle can roll repeatedly downhill but land on its wheels and remain undamaged. The Commanders seat GPMG has an extremely high rate of fire. None of the above make the pack un-playable, although they are minor annoyances.

    L85A2 Release

Reference the light reflecting on the lens, it's not limited to Kiorys' SUSAT; the FHQ ACOG is a prime example and I'm sure other 3D sights will be the same, probably to do with the game engine. (By default, the in-game sights are also 3D but there is a mod for 2D sights, not sure if you're using it.) As for fitting the sight to HMG; the sight picture probably would be alright, although the reticule would be wrong (since it's the SUSA that's used on the HMG.) And this is where having your eye to the sight whilst firing is definitely not recommended! Kio, apologies for the slight thread hijack!

    L85A2 Release

Mark, you're right that the eye relief for the SUSAT is 25mm (although I don't remember ever having the rubber eye piece touching my face), but you have to remember that in game, having it so close to the character model can potentially lead to clipping errors, especially with a helmet model.

    L85A2 Release

That's a standard L123A2 UGL. Brad is on about this; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M320_Grenade_Launcher_Module which we don't use.

    L85A2 Reboot!

I'm not referring to an airsoft gun. You're right, it's an A2 handguard. The magazine housing doesn't differ in distance on any SA80. Be it L85, L85A1, L85A2. TMH is the Trigger Mechanism Housing. It's the main body of the weapon.

    L85A2 Reboot!

A few observations mate: The magazine housing is too close to the pistol grip. The top cover of the handguard is too short whilst the handguard itself is too long forward of the gas-block. (A1 handguard too?) The TMH itself seems a little compacted towards the forward end. The carrying handle looks a little off somehow; possibly too short and slightly too angular. Saying that; it looks to be an improvement over your other one dude. The barrel certainly looks better. Keep it up.

    Susat Scope

Good luck trying to see them glow in the day. In fact, good luck trying to see 75% of them glow at all now! For ultra realism, you can round off the tip of the sight post for that "been smashed against rocks on a CQB lane for 20 years" look. Kiory, the model looks excellent. Top work!

    STALKERGB's British Infantry

Had a quick look; looking very nice mate. I've put some feedback on the RKSL forum for you.

    WIP British Infantry

    Looking top notch Matt.
  16. There isn't an L129 in the UKF Weapon Pack. StalkerGB released one with his 3 Rifles MTP units. Weapon - "STKR_L129A1" Magazine - "20Rnd_762x51_L129A1"
  17. Since your last update, we've had no issues with the blank firing weapons mate.
  18. The HMG works fine, it's the GPMG. Maybe worth writing a devhev ticket about that actually. If it's not already been done?
  19. It's the same weapon, just mounted on a tripod with the butt removed and a butt plate fitted. I know that the BIS L7 is just their M240 model, however, using ACE, you can manpack the Gun and tripod. You can also, using ACE, mount the UKF L7A2 onto the M122 tripod, as well as having a Number 2 load the gun for you. As an extra see-off for the gunner, ACE has even implemented barrel bags, for those extra few pounds of misery when yomping and when you need a barrel change. This also works on the UKF Gun, in the light role as well: (ACE interaction, swap barrel.) I appreciate that it's not the L4A1 tripod, and you're stuck in the low mount, however, given that you won't be doing map predicted fire, I think this fills the role of an SF gun well enough, for the time being at least. Admittedly you can't lay the gun onto targets as you would in reality, as you have to "get out" to reposition the tripod, change the traverse or elevation, but we can't have everything. Saying that however, SF role Guns do make me happy in my trousers, and I wouldn't mind seeing one.
  20. Top work mate, much needed, much appreciated.
  21. Hoofing phot. Two matelot officers looking like absolute scranbags. Unironed shirt on the chick. Incorrectly worn belts. Badly rolled sleeves. Tankie, have a word with your Oppos! Matt, are you sorted for reference phots?
  22. It'll be like the OFP/ArmA1 days. Suddenly, M4A1 packs! Ffffffuuuuuuu! As long as anyone who makes an L129 ignores that stupid foldable foregrip they're issued with, I'll be happy.
  23. If you use the weapons with ACE and deploy the bipod then press Shift+Space, this will plant the bipod firmly on the deck and will reduce recoil. In short bursts. Of course. Mate, Matt/StalkerGB has an L129 in his MTP infantry pack. He was working on updating it and adding the MUNS night-sight for it, but not sure if he's made any more progress on it.
  24. Whoops. Sig, seen! Effort snipes. If he's a matelot then he should still be tucking it in and cracking a belt! As for that IBN, from the looks of the phots coming back from in theatre, lads on the ground are chinning it off. As is anyone with common sense (or a sense of Allyness as Jonny would say!) Saying that, come next week I'll be furiously digging out my un-defiled helmet cover to replace the one I've taken the elastic off having been gripped by someone with a sad-on that in deepest darkest England the Taliban are going to shoot me in the face from over 9000!m because of some green tape. Don't suppose you've seen the latest addition to the black bag have you mate? Strips of MTP to tie onto the elastic on helmet covers?
  25. Are you implying you pongos don't wear a belt anymore since your shirts are worn untucked? Or just around your combat jacket? Standards man! Matt, I hope you'll be removing all scrim net, rubber bands and green/tan tape from your units helmets to conform with the latest IBN on the matter. (I'm joking, for the love of God please don't.)
