I am very ambitious in this. How to mod in various actions like waving the hands, giving a hug....etc.
What tool and script is needed?

Firstly, when do you want to activate the trigger? Only when every single survivor is at the evac pt? Are the units to evac all part of the same group? If not originally, do you want to add them all to the same group when the evac begins? That can make life easier.The simplest is to set a trigger so that every member of the group must be in the trigger zone. Obviously dead people aren't expected to be able to move around, so that will automatically match every survivor of the group. You can then make the trigger run different code (in the 'on act') depending on how many people are in the group (count thisList).
Alternatively, you can make several triggers and have the condition something like:
[code[this and (count thisList > 5) and (count thisList < 10)[/code]
as an example.
But you do need to make sure you clearly define when the trigger should be activated. Just doing the second example above (with multiple triggers with different counts) can mean if a lot of people survive, you'll activate the "some survivors" trigger and then a bit later run the "all survivors" trigger when more of the people show up. Depending on what the triggers do that might be okay, but usually you only want to run one.

The case is, I want an army to evacuate from an area and the % survived is checked when they reach their destination. For all, some or none make it to the evacuation pt., will trigger different trigger. How could I mod the % of survivers in a group to be checked by a trigger?

I think there should be a better interior combat as there is just no change in behavoiur between outdoor and indoor.

For so long, OFP and its legacy have been proven to be extremely great. But I always think that there could be some more improvements.
First, I want a good indoor fight. Even in ARMA 2, the indoor space is so "weird" that it is not good for an indoor fight.
Second, I want to pick anything up with my bare hand. I want to pick up things and help with my entrenchment.
Third, I wanna dig in! Make a trench for a lower chance of getting shot in my butt. I dunno if there are mods about dig in yet but it will always be more preferred for BI to do it officially.
Forth, shooting from the car! I dont think I will be shot all the way in a car without the intention in firing back.....::D
Lastly, could there be a cave or something that can be made on the landscape. Fighting inside a cave is really cool.....

Guys... but dont you think stop after running to a fence. And "v" the fence is silly? By you momentum, your can leap over it! A sudden stop looks silly.....:j:

Correct me if im wrong but i get the support to work by placing units (your medics, ammo trucks etc) on the map, with a support waypoint. then when you call for support they will reply and move to your location (where you called for support) They can be used by any group, and the ai uses them effectivly as well.Hi, Pundaria. The support that you seem to be talking about is support from HQ... medical choppers, ammo trucks, etc.If the mission doesn't have them 'coded' (programmed in), you'll get that 'Negative' response. You have to have the coding for support present in the mission, as well as having the specific units (medical copter, etc) physically placed on the map as well. Again, if whoever did the mission didn't do that, that command won't work.
SteveJA360 is correct. From what I remember (...as I too was asking the same question when I started playing Arma2...) you have to place the support units on the map, and then give them a single waypoint (...it can just be right beside them... it's just a formality).
As far as that annoying 'Where are you???' thing (...which I also asked about!...), I was told that you don't need to respond (...nor is there any real response available anyway). It appears to happen when one of your team members has lost sight of you. My solution, if anything, is to order that person (or everyone) to move to a certain spot. By giving them a specific spot on the map (as opposed to just saying 'come back to me', which is pointless if they don't know where you are), then they have a known place on the map to go to. Moving towards the lost guy, so he sees you, should also help.
If you are injured, and have a medic, then you can call your medic, as opposed to the HQ support. That's in the main menu ('Injured'). Be aware, though, that often they won't jump over and help you right away. Just keep shouting to them, and annoy them... as they often annoy you!
BTW, if and when you DO get an HQ ambulance helicopter arriving to you, it will land and stay there until you dismiss it. You can order team members to 'heal at that helicopter', as well as heal yourself at it (by getting close to it, and having a 'heal' option along with the usual 'get in as pilot, get in back, etc' commands you get with other vehicles.

I am fairly sure that you can also place a corpsman or the ambulance humvee as medical support in addition to the MH-60S. Or if you are playing on a different side some of them have BMP Ambulances or Mi-8 ones.Thx, guys. Got it going already ;)

Well, at least look on the bright side. You save your opportunity cost if you can regenerate more then the extra cost you spend for the "black ed" during installation of 1.05 patch(which is very slow) and assumming you can do nothing while installing:D

If you have a medic in your Squad use him, if not...You have to heral your downed soldiers yourself or tell another Team member to do so, but they won´t be fully healed.When the ask "Where are you?", then just type
^ (Selects all Units)
1 (Movement menu)
1 (Regroup)
Wait until they catch up with you
Now I see this problem haunted me from OFP finally comes to a rest in my old fashion way of treating........:p

thank god they don't, lol. I brought this point up. I said there are children younger than 10 playing cod, gta, halo, bf, etc. It doesn't make them bad games but I've never seen a prepubescent plying arma. Nope, they still say halo is more hardcore because everyone plays it.... As if hardcore and mass appeal go hand in hand in their dillusional minds.Edit: I just saw the pic. How to use support? Call Support in my menu is sth I never understand how it works. Everytime I call a medic from there, AI replies "HQ: there are no medic...."
How does this logic work?
BTW, how to reply oneself's current location to AI???

p.s. Dont expect to get one in local region through, OFP player is kind of rare in hong kong, oh and get your parents to help you set up personal saving account as well, you will need that in college

Do they have best buy in Hong Kong...? Eitherway sounds like the OP has problems for all the solutions. Whatever happens mate good luck getting OFP i know i'm never letting my copy get too far away from me.Hopeless..... she has got beaten in our market and ran away few years ago.....

I bought brand new packed OFP GOTY on Ebay from UK seller and it costed me less than 10 Eu. They still have plenty OFP's on Ebay, so check it out.Cool.... but a HK ac will require me to be at least 18...

Well, you can always use Amazon. I did when I lost my CDs way-back-when.Tell you another bad thing..... I am only 17(under local legal age for a credit card) and I am a Hong Knog citizen. It would be a great trouble for me to get it from amazon............

P.S. And how to creat a task? I couldn't make a task unavailable until a certain event. They are just all choosable at the beginning.....

How to add a radio message after a certain event? I want to make a radio conversation(how to type in the radio subtile that will be displayed in my mission such as "the extraction point is at eagle...") with a sound file played(what knid of file should I record the sound as and how to place it in place?). :p

How to edit the action menu? I wanna add a new option in the menu at a particular moment to appear for player to select. And upon selecting, it gives an animation. and respectively, they trigger off different trigger.
How could I do so?
