  3. DePew won't help getting the islands into A3? Would really be a shame to see them go to waste. Cheers, D.
  4. Even better if it's 'only' ACE (still, would be nice if both mods worked together). Have you tried disabling certain components of ACE? Like e.g. medical sys...? Would be nice to be able to narrow it down to something. Cheers, D.
  5. Rather sounds like a problem with a ported weapon to me. I had the same crash when I ported a weapon to ArmA3 that was missing a specific LOD in the model that was not needed before. This would always result in a crash if the guy carrying it was killed. Anyway, nice alpha in any case, enjoying it a lot.
  6. After a first look at the UNS 3 Alpha I can say for sure that this will be a masterpiece once more. Thank you for your continued dedication to 'The Cause', UNS-Team :) Keep it up! Cheers, D.
  7. Great stuff, as always, branzik & petrtlach. Really looking forward to it. Cheers, D.

    [DA3] The Congo Crisis

Thanks for the positive comments :) Well, the mod already offers quite a lot of gameplay possibilities, but it's always a tough decission if/when to go 'beta'. I guess it is too early yet, as people would probably be disappointed by unfinished and/or lack of content. If there'll be a beta by the end of the year: no idea. It would be nice but I really can not say. Cheers, D.

    [DA3] The Congo Crisis

Well, it has been a while, but we have not been idle: The awesome guys over at the German Forgotten Hope Warzone Community let me organize another test campaign using the mod's assets. I think it was a great success, both entertaining the players and providing me with invaluable feedback and bug-hunting along the way. The campaign and player wishes often caused not-too-historic stuff to be intruduced into the mod for gameplay reasons, but I think the added delay pays off. Some things that made it into the mod: Static weapons (BI ports), mortars, small arms, tons of helmet and uniform variants (Mostly by Kraetzer but also by my humble self): ... of course utilizing many of the new features introduced in recent patches, like fully working bipods: While still WIP, an icon of aviation history made it into the mod, thanks to the awesome guys of The Unsung: Also WIP, one of some variants of armed jeeps: Also in the works are several planes and cars, while I try to polish and enhance some of the older stuff. The map made good progress as well, but I am not sure how to continue it with A3's addon on the horizont. Everything is TFAR, ASR_AI and AGM compatible (and will, at least in parts, be ACE3 compatible). No JSRS support yet, but I plan to add that as well. Cheers, D.
  10. Haha, that will keep the army's morale high. But you need to add crates of Becherovka too! ;) Cheers, D.
  11. Now I don't want to sound picky, but it should be 'Nicht werfen!' and either 'Deutsche Wehrmacht - Eigentum' or even better 'Eigentum der Deutschen Wehrmacht'. Those minor things aside, awesome work, as always! Great textures and attention to detail :) Cheers, D.
  12. Amazing attention to details none the less! Keep it up, guys :)
  13. No problems on my map that I am aware of. It's constantly being playtested and works fine. Anyway - as stated before: no problem, the tool is immensely usefull even with just a 6 digit Northing :) Thanks again for it and keep it up! Cheers, D.
  14. My map frame is in the Congo region ;) But don't worry, I could mass-recalculate the Northings quite easily afterwards. So, probably nothing to fix on your end if few people use those high values. Cheers, D.
  15. No, unfortunately, these ponds don't work in A3 :(
  16. Hm... maybe it is something on my end, but I can only add Northings with 6 digits while I would need to enter a Northing with 7 digits. Any ideas? Awesome tool, by the way :) Cheers, D.
  17. I'm pretty sure that jointMuzzles is already part of the latest version of ASDG Joint Rails. Using the old seperate .pbo will certainly cause problems.
  18. Great stuff there :) I hope for many spectacular crashes with the 'Blitz', so we can see and appreciate it's highly detailed underside ;) Keep it up! Cheers, D.

The Unsung Vietnam Mod 3.0 WIP THREAD

Enjoy your well deserved 'retirement' Sgt. Savage :) Thanks for all you did for the community and for your cooperation. Maybe now you will have the time to actually play ArmA! ;) Cheers, D.
  20. Nice coincidence - You are just working on the top 2 items on my personal CSA38 wish list :) The models look great as always - keep it up and good health to you guys. Cheers, D.

    [DA3] The Congo Crisis

@stephsen: I have some M1s at my disposal and they will make it into the mod at some point. @Tsark: thanks :) Meanwhile, a pic of the aforetime mentioned rifle grenade, together with an earlier G3 (grenade ist my own work; G3 is a modified model originally done by Vilas): Cheers, D.

    [DA3] The Congo Crisis

Time for an update! The Bazooka by BabylonJoke finally made it to the ArmA3-version: While not usefull against most tanks anymore, it still comes handy in many situations. A very nice FN Browning HP by Mr.Rifleman in the early stages of import: Not very spectacular, but very handy in most missions: A 'Radio Station' - in fact a desk with a radio where you can sit down to contact the guys at the front (it has TFAR features enabled). The Radio has been made by Lodu and is a port from the A2 version,as is the GMC truck in the background by Waxbutter. Ignore those infantry models in the pics, btw ;) Krätzer has been busy providing the French armed factions with a new toy - have a look at a W.I.P high poly of the famous MAT-49: Other updates include rifle grenades, additions to the map and one or two very nice surprises by our most friendly modding team from Sweden, the guys from the Swedish Forces Pack :) Cheers, D.

    Authentic Gameplay Modification

    Yep, same problem here.

    Authentic Gameplay Modification

I might have found a bug during fortification placement (AGM_logistics): I can not abort the process by pressing the right mouse button. 'Place' and 'Rotate' works, but not 'Cancel'. Cheers, D.
