    Are there any early Pz. III versions (e.g. Ausf. E) on you hard drive, by any chance? I know they are quite out of Normandy's timeframe, but still... a man may dream :) I love the Russian armor btw! Your work? D.

    The 'Marines' word on your chopper most probably comes from an _smdi.paa (How's that called? Specular Map?) and not from a _co.paa. You will have to change it as well. D. -------- EDIT: Yes, the file you are looking for is 'uh1y_ext_smdi.paa'.

    The next mission will be up soon. You can see the vanguard of the attacking 666th Soviet Guards Army. They are nicknamed 'The Faces' because of their Mod attitude (just look at that exquisite tank camo!) and their rather disturbing habbit of nailing the skinned faces of their victims onto their helmets. D.

    AI & bridges: Might be the same phenomenon seen on Isla Duala: Probably the 'tides' effect the water level in the ravine. Trucks use the bridge, but tanks tend to try to take shortcuts right through the water, and often get stuck or destroyed. But again: This was on the earlier version included with 31stN, and your map is really great. I have a nice little book on some of the battles in that area and will add more and more historic missions for sure. -- And the mission: Out of small arms ammo or Panzerschreck Rockets/Panzerfäuste? In the first case, I will add more magazines to the Blitz & SdKfz. The Anti-Tank weapons are short on supply on purpose, if you are desperate: There are some satchel charges in the transports... :) Thanks for the feedback! Changelog: - placement/waypoints updated to work with Hürtgenwald 1.0 - possible end game bug solved - more ammo in the transports Tip: All users of the 31st Normandy mod should remove the old version of the Hürtgenwald map that is included with it and replace it with the newest version 1.0 (HERE).

    Vilas is just updating his sounds with aid of other community members. I think they will be just fine. ---- On a sidenote: With LJF's Razoreniya island in the works, chances are rising that the next theater of war to be added to DIH Africa will be Guinea-Bissau (after a major update of the current contents, of course).

    Some people keep reporting that Panzerschreck/Panzerfaust/Bazooka and VilWW2 units don't work... which is strange as I have no problems what-so-ever using them. Maybe you guys run 31stN with other mods?

    a small (bug?) report: The PaK 38 seems to be able to take a huge amount of damage. You have to score several full hits with the StuG III G AP rounds to destroy it. Also, one of it's crew can't be killed by small arms fire, sometimes (I can't tell when it's possible and when it's not). Thanks for the quick first patch!

    @Beton: Yeah, I noticed that the 31st version of the Map is an older one... btw: I have to thank YOU for that great map! It's a pitty that that nice ravine across the map is just too much for the AI :( (at least in the 31st version of the map, I will have to check if it works on the actual version too.) - But I'm more a COOP or TEAM vs TEAM guy anyway. @Waxbutter: Thanks! One's own AI is always the most frustrating thing for me in that mission...

    1) Many thanks for all the hard work you guys have put into this! 2) StuG main gun reticle is not centered. The grenades land to the left and a bit higher. 3) Here's a small COOP mission: DIH CO26 Desperate Attack v1 Download: http://www.filefront.com/15748527/DIH_CO26_DeAt_31st_v1.bet_hurtgen.pbo/ 1-26 player COOP, 3+ players recommended, but works in SP too. A German MechInf Squad, a MotInf Squad and a StuG III G try a desperate attack to retake a lost village in Beton's Hürtgenwald. This is a very hard mission and ment to be like that. User Mission thread HERE. 4) A 'solution' for the bug that units can't use any grenades: Put this into your init.sqf (at the end, because it contains a necessary sleep command), and at least the players are able to use grenades again: Cheers, D.

    Well, if you need a pre-built mission, the waiting time for you will be the same no matter if the mission comes later with a patch or if they delay the mod to include the mission - so why bother? You might even get missions faster if they release it without the mission, because other mission makers *could* possibly create missions faster than RiP & co can create their warfare mission.

    Sry, no clue. When I read your post it came to my mind that I never checked if the grenades actually hit the target - but they do, I just tested again: WITH exploding shells. I'll upload my mission for you, just wait a moment. EDIT: Here it is: http://www.filefront.com/15680159/z_Arty.utes.7z/ Just hit 0-0-1 and wait for the impact in front of you. And yes: it is no bug that you start swimming in the sea. Utes is too small for the minimum range of the M109.

    VILAS addons release thread

    Put it in the init field of one of your units (it can be ANY unit. It does not need to be one of your artillery units) or put it into the 'on Activation' field of a trigger that has 'true' as condition (I used the second method when testing the module). The rest works as usual. Set up ARTY module, create fire templates, etc... Cheers, D. EDIT: You are talking about the P'85 artillery units, right?

    Project RACS

    Well, I don't care as well... ...but I'm eagerly awaiting PRACS! Keep it up. The RACS will be one very special and unique army for sure (not to mention the none-RACS stuff that will probably come with PRACS). Cheers, D.
