...I find that ARMA 2 still doesnt run on my machine. I actually have a new system which is : Core i7 950 3.07 Ghz 4GB corsair DDR 3 RAM (1600) HD 5970 OC Win 7 32-bit ARMA 2 installed on an 80 Gig SSD with patch 1.07 The game still runs like cr*p and is constently stuttering. Yet i have seen videos on youtube off ppl running the game on max settings even with 10k view distance and it running ok. Is that even possible? I have all the cpucount=4 , -winxp and all that but the game still runs at about 30 FPS and the stuttering drives me crazy and this is on med/high settings with 2k VD? So should I be able to run this game better or is it just not gonna happen I mean I really love the look of ARMA 2 and would love to play it so is there something I am missing?

I feel you there bro im in exactly the same position and know that i would love the game if it actually worked but ah well. Guess we have to see what patch 1.04 brings.

Have you tried downloading the new 9.7 beta drivers for your card? I have a 4870x2 and after getting the new drivers my performance has increased alot, and i believe they solve the crossfire problem. I cant find a link to them right now but if you look through the forum you will see a post about them.

Im juts curious as to what graphical settings ppl are playing on for best performance , and what there system specs are. I think its good to have a thread where ppl can see what settings other ppl with similar systems are using. Im currently running everthing on high apart from post processing which is disabled and NO AA. My view distance is at 3000 and im getting about 30 - 40fps. My system specs are: C2Q Q6600 overclocked to 3Ghz Sapphire HD4870 X2 4Gb DDR 2 RAM

Im just wondering if anyone knows when the next patch will be out. I heared that the demo version of the game is a later version than the currnent retail version. This game currently runs very poorly on my system even on lower settings and i hope that the next patch will improve performance somewhat. Im not sure why it runs so bad but ive seen that many ppl have this problem. My specs are : Intel C2Q Q6600 overclocked to 3.0Ghz Sapphire HD4870 X2 Gpu : 780Mhz Mem Clock : 950Mhz 4 Gb DDR2 RAM Vista 64Bit
