There is no need to hack or use scripts when playing the core game. This problem is the fault of Day Z. The core game anti-cheat mechanism should not be altered for a mod. We at RHS do not expect core game mechanics and systems to be altered for our mod. So why should the Day Z team? -
P I R O G - AFRF A campaign for ArmA II Combined Operations By Bardosy Converted to AFRF by Stagler Requires Red Hammer Studios: Armed Forces of the Russian Federation After the Cold War, Chernarus betrayed Russia and separated as an independent state. The Chernarussian people never said a single 'Thank You' even though throughout the Cold War, Chernarus was modernised out of the relative poverty and ruin that followed WW2. After the separation, Russia was busy with its own problems in the Caucasus. Chernarus used this time to build up a pro-American economy from their oil reserves and caviar fished from the Black Sea. The USA - of course - supports them much better than Moscow militarily and the Chernarussian government - when their economy and newly americanised CDF was ready - started a very aggressive and provocative policy towards Russia. Citizenship of Russian nationals living in the country was revoked. Criminal attacks against Russians was daily in the Northern part of Chernarus. It finally came to blows as CDF units launched rocket attacks into southern Russia bordering Chernarus. Russia was obliged to respond with force... This campaign is focused on the regular infantry combat with armored and air support. This is not a special operations or pilot campaign. Features: - Weapon selection (if not during the briefing, it possible later from vehicles). - Not one team or lone wolf against the whole CDF army style missions. - Usually leading one squad, but attacking with other squads in most missions. Later you can lead multiple squads (High Command). Large "battlefield" feel to gameplay. - Multiple playable roles (you can switch to the squad sniper or AT soldier within your squad). - Not a very deep story with romance, but there are lovable/hateable characters. - English dialogue - Increased difficulty from original campaign as the AFRF are less well equipped (but more realistically) than BIS Russian forces. I released these because although Vilas AK pack has some decent modernised AKs. They are not very intra-mod compatible, nor were they the kind of AKs I really wanted. So I knocked these up. This is only a small weapon pack with four modernised AKS-74Us included. v1.1 Features Ammobox containing the weapons. Compatible with ACE 2 and Four modernised AKS-74Us including suppressed variants, and Micro Aimpoint variants. Camouflage variants of all weapons. Working IR lasers. all soundmods since they inherit directly from the default AKS74U classes. As I said, with the bis arty computer they made all artillery ranges change. SO the stuff on map is probably out of range or within minimum range now.

I didnt touch any of the ingame scripts bar the ones that spawn the units.

This is probably because since they introduced the artillery computer, they changed the minimum and maximum ranges of all artillery ingame. True story.

Google translate bro, google translate is your friend. Tonci, i dont think any campaigns or missions can be ported successfully without some tweaking of the missions themselves, ie reducing enemies or changing the mission slightly. Some just dont work with ARMA 2 because of the advances with the engine mate.- 1308 replies

You do have to be careful not to get spotted on winter kolgujev, your better hiding in the bole of a tree. Make sure to be fast planting your mines and stuff as well.- 1308 replies

Yeah, this is more of a mission making problem. Heres some gen advice: Look to see if others have done this before you, or made a similar game mode. Maybe even for ARMA or OFP. Then investigate that, unpack it and see how they did it. Then young padawan, you will learn. -
If there are no more bugs I wont be working on this anymore, it was just a simple conversion is all. One of the agreements with Bardosy when I asked to port his work was that he didnt get any messages or posts about it because he is done with it as well. Thats why I opened a seperate thread. If you want to add things like project CDF, i would unpack the campaign and add them in yourself.
