I think thats if there's AI in the game you can take them over or if the game is made for players to not spawn at same time. In the demo there wasn't such maps and i'm not even sure if you can take over AI players in demo!

A little but nothing compared to the demo, i can easily live with it :) The most annoying issue in my eyes is that AI see and shoot through heavy foliage where you as a player wouldn't be able to see any thing :( But overall i REALLY like this game,,,, just right now i was playing with some cool guys on some coop maps, i had some great games and i think the other guys enjoyed them aswell. Buy this game if you like the most about the demo, the issues will be dealt with i'm certain ;)

Yes your kinda blinded there waiting to join and those playing can't see your chat messages, but those already dead can! But the waiting is something that will benefit you when you are playing, if your the last man standing you'll appreciate when you get to finish! Some hosts seems to restart as soon as they die, thats annoying for the rest of the players! I have only experienced a crash with the demo once but never with the retail, so yes for me it's more stable :p The sound and specially the radio dialog has improved a lot since the demo, i do feel the AI is a little harder!

If the game is in progress you wait in the pool to all players are dead or they complete the mission, atleast with coop games which is the only game type i play! Often you don't have to wait too long :) Your welcome on my server when you get your retail, i host custom maps but i only have 3 so far. Hopefully i will get a few more done today :) Servername: JW Custom Coop

I've created a few maps where i have placed a 6 man blufor playable group against some non playable opfor enemies. So my question is now that i host a game with this/these missions does the game know how to label the game type(coop) because of the mission, i mean i haven't set it to coop anywhere! Just wondering if the game i'm hosting is coop type! If anyone wanna try the missions the server name is: JW Custom Notice: I'm hosting from Denmark

Ok, thank you very much but i'm still a little confused....(newbie :p) So i make a file named description.ext and put this in it: then put the description.ext into same folder as the mission file?

yeah but there's other options then that, for me the option that really makes my mouse lag is the 3D Resolution option. I get no difference what-so-ever with Viewdistance, highest or lowest!

When i set video settings too high i get slow mouse response, also going from iron sight, acog etc and back to normal view is laggy, but when i lower video settings the mouse response is fine! I got a very up-to-date computer but i can't max everything out, people should have in mind that it takes a monster to do that!

I have made a mission where BLUFOR need to seize a radar station so i have set a trigger on it. The trigger activation is set to "Seized by BLUFOR", but how do i make sure it only trigger when there's no more enemies within the trigger area? Right now it trigger when enemy still is within the trigger area!

When i have a unit and give it 3 waypoints like this: Waypoint 1 - Move, Combat Waypoint 2 - Move, no change Waypoint 3 - Cycle, no change Will this result in the unit moving to waypoint 1 in combat mode. Then go to waypoint 2 with no change which means it's still in combat mode. Then go to waypoint 3 still in combat mode. From here it will go through all waypoints again. Is that correct? Tia for any help :) -

You want to able to see 15.000-20.000m and then you would like to have settings to set graphics lower than you can now and also turn grass off... wtf :confused: -
I dunno if your still have mouse problems as i didn't bother read through all posts :p I also had the mouse "lag" problem and it seemed like forever to aim at enemy, it turned out that my video settings were too high, specially the "3D Resolution" setting was causing my mouse "lag". My 'Interface Resolution' is 1600x1200. First i had '3D Resolution' maxed out but that was what caused my mouse "lag" so i set it to 1600x1200 and then all mouse "lag" was gone and now i can aim as good as in any other game :) So you probably have to degrade your video settings to fix mouse "lag" thingy. Hope this helps on your problem, sure did for me :)

That combined with the enemy seeing you and shooting at you through bushes, grass and what not while proning makes it even more frustrating. If atleast the enemy had to crouch or stand to get a proper view the player would have a chance spotting them before it was too late.

I hear you, tried joining a few coop games myself with same experience. In the demo i hosted custom missions and i'm gonna do that in the retail aswell, just need time to create some more missions as i only got 1 ready. My missions is mainly about sweeping a city from one end to the other or attacking a camp in a forest and often there's less than 700-800 from start to end but still a lot of action and excellent team work ;)

Different tactics???? I'm talking about you have been shooting at the enemy and have been compromized, now you have to re-locate but no matter where you run and how much you try to be outta enemy sight they ALWAYS know your new location and where your head will pop up, now thats almost a aimbot that follow you behind 5 houses, 15 bushes and 100's of other objects. I have make my own maps and it has no effect what-so-ever if i set enemy units skill to lowest. Take a T-90, once it's alert(maybe because you have been shooting at other enemies) it's almost impossible to try engage it from any angle even though you know you have been sneaking around it... when you put your head in the open it's gone.. arghh I know this thread is about snipers, but the AI god mode is against all classes!
