Errhmm it's not an argument i just informed you know that you talked about the previous patch in the latest patch thread, it's not like you have to prove anything lol :p P.S. far from all changes are listed in the changelog :) -

Well if it's destroyed you can't target it with TAB! -
The post you quoted was in reply against removing the space bar function completely, i'll already stated making it a server setting would be reasonable solution. I don't use the function just like i dont play with crosshairs but thats no reason for me to want it removed!

I was wondering how to handle ACE's Armor Damage System, like getting damage and setting damage? While snooping a little around in ACE files i found this: statement = "[this, vehicle player, nil, 'repair'] call ace_sys_repair_fnc_action"; statement = "[this, vehicle player, nil, 'rearm'] call ace_sys_repair_fnc_action"; statement = "[this, vehicle player, nil, 'refuel'] call ace_sys_repair_fnc_action"; Anybody knows how to use it, i wanna be able to repair from a script :) -

I just had the problem with the Bradley/Linebacker missing. Solution: Run six update suite, reset autoskip status then update again! -
Just because it has a huge impact on gameplay for you and other people doesn't mean it has for everybody! If you want a simulator play VBS/JCove, ArmA 2 is a game with a taste of simulation/realism.

There's tons of unrealistic things in the game, where should we draw the line? Notice game is in bold, this is a game after all!

Thats YOUR opinion, there's many many people who doesn't feel that way! We could go on and on about things that isn't realistic and end up with a game not many people would play. It's just fine as it is now, people who want more realism can go for ACE and other mods. I like ACE and i only play with ACE but thats no reason for me to force it on everybody else.

There's so many things in this game that doesn't work the same IRL.... it's called a game for a reason. Not everybody is playing this game the same way, thats the beauty of it, some play it more hardcore using ACE and other realism mods while other people enjoy playing with crosshairs and unlimited stamina etc etc. I didn't say you wasn't allowed to suggest the space bar removal i'm just arguing against it. I still can't understand why it bother you that people that don't play with ACE can use the space bar scan :confused:

So you are playing with ACE yet you wan't vanilla to not have the space bar scan.... hmmm so it's like i don't like then nobody else should have it :confused: I would be fine with it being a server side setting. P.S. good job on moving this subject to the suggestions forum, thats one step closer ;)

There's more than FPS to test, things might appear fine and awesome in one environment but really poorly in others. So just having a standard mission to test with might not give the best result! -

This and the previous patch seems to run fine, but as soon as you deal with a lot of AI and have a lot of scripts running things get real slow. -
Thanks for the update IceBreakr :cool: I must agree about the grass it does feel a little heavy :)

I think Win7 was only out as beta when ArmA 2 was being developed. I'm going in the opposite direction, what do Vista/Win 7 bring that i really need.... hmm nothing. WinXP has always been running great for me and i won't upgrade unless a new OS bring me something useful or i'm being forced to it software wise ;) -
Yeah keep asking for a space bar remove in here that will help!!!
