  1. I can't imagine how this could work. Like, I pay 100USD and wait until the threshold is reached. Let's say that the threshold will be reached in 2 months, so BIS starts working on the feature. It will be done in, let's say 3 months. So I will get the feature 5 months after I paid? (in this case) No, this wouldn't work. No one is going to pay for a product he will see in 5 months. And the fact that you wouldn't have to pay for it in advance makes this system even worse and less possible.

  2. Fully agreed. I would want to see more scripted story-driven missions (with some freedom of course) and missions like manhattan (properly tested and without gamebreaking bugs). It's pretty sad that BIS couldn't make a decent campaign since resistance. I hope they are already aware of what they did right and bad in the past.

Do you have PP effects enabled? When you turn your whole body motion blur kicks in so it might just seem to stutter (according to devs motion blur should in theory actually improve FPS..?).

Nope, disabling PP has no effect. As I said:

Aiming inside floating zone - smooth

Turning the whole body - stutter (as seen in the video posted on previous page)

  4. I have the same mouse problem.

It's strange that aiming inside the floating zone is silky smooth(even when I have the lowest DPI on my mouse and highest ingame sensitivity), but when I aim "outside" the floating zone (the whole soldier rotates) it starts to stutter. That leads me to conclusion that it is ArmA2 problem, not mouse or sensitivity problem. (but I might be wrong of course)

Changing to the highest DPI my mouse has (2000DPI) and reducing the ingame sensitivity helps to reduce the stutter but it's still there.

  5. Why do you need MLODs?

where is the problem? @floosy: use arma 1.03 and offical a2 toolsuit. There was never a need for sample models to build islands...... even with a1 toolsuite :)

I don't know anything about island-making, but SgtAce said that you don't need MLODs (and he already showed us screenshots and video with Arma2 trees on his Everon island).

  6. AFAIK it has been released everywhere, but some shops are too dumb to order it, so you might have to order it from online shop.

Price: I have preordered it for 35 EUR, but you can probably get it cheaper. Don't know about the prices in Poland though.

  7. Think part of the problem is that satchels still count as high visibility weapons. Even if you blow them at maximum range with no enemy LOS all enemy within a large radius still get alot of knowsabout and will pinpoint your location as if you'd been spotted at the scene.
I don't think that's true. It was just bug in Arma 1 and they've got rid of it.

  8. Bravo was a bit useless, they came to the town when almost every enemy was dead. The harrier crashed after it completed the objective, but that isn't your fault.

I really enjoyed the mission though. I hope you'll create some more missions like this one. Maybe it could be a bit longer?
