    I was referring to the amount of sink you experience when pulling out of even the shallowest dive and not just in helicopters. I have had a couple of incidents where a harrier has just completely failed to change direction. If a plane really behaved like that in real life it wouldn't be allowed to fly.

    I agree with Kremator that the sink in a turn is generally fine to a point, there are however times where you need manouverability or lift that just isn't there for some inexplicable reason. All aircraft lose energy far too quickly when doing anything other than level flight imo

    Agreed.I found that the Cobra has a tendency to drop out of the sky like a bag of Hammers when doing a high speed strafing run.

    Hmm cant seem to Get ARMA 2 to run now since i installed the new 190.38.Every time i try to start the game i keep getting the dreaded error message"Error creating Direct3D Graphical engine".Followed the usual procedures, uninstalled previous drivers etc[Driver cleaner]All to no avail.Just wondering if anybody else seems to be experiencing the same issue.I've also noticed that this Direct3D error seems only to affect ARMA 2 as all my other games work fine with the new 190.38 drivers.

    I just want to say to all the fellow admins out there to stay the course and do not allow, what is in my opinion a significant number of petulant children to destroy ARMA 2 multiplayer.Just tonight we had to spend quite some time in removing a collection of utter morons from our public server and remove them we did.They ranged from the usual suspects such as i wanna fly why cant i get in the Cobra and then Teamkilling the pilot. Teamkilling entire squads in black hawks as they took off from the airport.Destroying assets at the base.And last but not least ramming aircraft as they take off.Now i don't want people to misunderstand me. With every new game there is a learning curve and we pride ourselves in going out of our way in order to help new players get the most from ARMA 2. The above instances are not the actions of people who don't know what there are doing for the most part.They are quite clearly deliberate.

    Now i have been around for quite a while with regard to online gaming. Having cut my teeth with the old Medal of Honour series on a 56k modem ,long before Mr Broadband showed up:).And despite this particular longevity i have not witnessed such stupidity such petulant behaviour as i've seen since ARMA 2 hit the net.And up until recently i thought BF2 was a bad as it got:rolleyes:.However my fellow clan members and i will not be deterred and as my thread title suggests we will stay the course.I'm simply asking all the other Admins out there to do the same.I have no doubt that the excellent mod community will address the issue of a proper RCON but it will take some time im sure.We ourselves are currently working on the same issue.

    So finally if you want to join us on our server where we actively encourage team play and constantly admin our server you are more than welcome.But if you are the type who just wants to cause grief, well all i can say is your stay will be a short one i guarantee it .

    Every time i enter a menu, map screen or press g there is a 20 to 30 second delay.This of course is quite annoying and fatal in some situations.On top of all this i have atrocious mouse lag.I have had a look at the various forums and haven't come across anyone with the same problem.

    My system specs are

    Vista 64Bit

    Quad core Q8200 2.33Mhz

    8 gigs of Ram

    Nvidia 9800GT 512MB DDR3

    G15 Keyboard

    G9 Laser mouse

    All my drivers are up to date. Game is patched to 1.02 build 58134. I have Vsync disabled plus Mouse acceleration. All background services not required are shut down. And for some strange reason when i try to play the game in low settings it's actually worse.Any help would be appreciated.
