    try playing on the HOLD servers.They are very fun and seem to be what kinda game you are lookin for man.Thats about the only style ill play because it is human vs human.Thats the only way to play IMHO. But opinions are like...well you know. To each his own!

    I agree. I played AAS/Hold last night on the TCombat server and it was great. The action was fairly constant and I had the satisfaction of knowing that when I killed someone, it was an actual player. My only gribe is that I wish the player limit was higher since the server only allowed for 32 players.

    I've played Arma2 for only a few days now, but online FPS games since waaaay back in Doom and Soldier of Fortune 2 days. I've evolved to crave the kind of experience that Arma2 has to offer and have for the msot part loved what I've played so far.

    The downside, a BIG downside. I want military simulation, tactical play, teamwork, communication and VOIP in game. By the sounds of some of these posts there are servers out there that do this but I can't seem to find them.

    The actual sticky point, THE BIGGEST point is that I have been playing onling FPS games since they were able to be played online and I absolutely do not enjoy working for hours and hours to shoot and defeat some AI charactar. WHERE are the servers doing the teamwork and all that with real humans vs real humans??? There are only a handful, like 2 or 3 in all the game over the entire globe doing that it seems on the multiplayer server list. These have only a handful of players and all are full of idiots.

    So come on server hosts....PLEEEEASE, for those of us old veteran teamwork, tactical, realism, military sim gamers, lets get some real human vs human action! This game is too good to get sick of it in a week or so, which I'm sure not only myself will be if all I can fight is a computer program shooting back at me. Don't you big clans in North America with good pings, with the great servers that everyone talks about have 40 player servers or 60 or more servers have any desire to host some actual gameplay that doesn't involve what I got sick of doing when I beat the pacman AI 29 years ago?? At least a real human can plan to try to beat you or fail, the AI just responds to a set of variables defined in it's code...

    I have to agree that hold is by far the best that ive played.Also ive played some really good ctf.These are purely pvp..that ive been on.Hold is the best.The dm for arma 2 is such BS.The only thing i seen in dm is you have an auto weapon and map is tiny...GAY!Now hold you get to customize your loadout and theres teamwork involved who want to play that way and then theres the loners that do well on there own.In my opinion i think hold is the best,and look forward to playing it alot.

    played on Ravensword server tonight was really fun after we got like 10 people in it.It was ctf.So if anyone is interested in some real mp games look for their server.I really hope there are more pvp servers gonna be popping up...if not then i feel like i wasted my $$$...and i actually do like the game so i hope the servers come.

    I have teamspeak,so if anyone is in the u.s. wants to help out,please do.Ive tried the editor,but i cant seem to get it working.I really want to play online against other people like tdm ctf etc.I wanted to make a mission or map or something where people could come in and have pretty much 2 spawn points for each team and have a good time killing each other with all the weapons.

    Im pretty frustrated right now spending 50 bucks on a game which seems to have hardly any mp at all...I keep reading about like endless mp game modes but am finding none to play.i dont want to play coop.I want to be able to come in pick a specific kit (sniper) when i want. Ive searched forums and read about huge mp battles but i dont see them...

    any help?

    Hello everyone. I have never played arma before.however i just bought arma2 today.It looks amazing in game.I just have a few questions that if anyone can help i would appreciate it.I thought i would be able to play online with a bunch of other people.Not computer fake dudes..."ai's" You know like bf2.Online pvp...I also like to play as a sniper.This game is perfect for that.I want to be able to get in game and choose a sniper rifle kit and play against people.Is this possible or do i have to choose a kit that is not in use. only?And is it possible to make this happen in the editor,i have no clue how to use it.? I think coop is lame,i know alot of peeps like it but i want to play against other skilled players.
