Its a great game, so much so that the odd bug dosent bother me. Im running old hardware and am getting the performance i would expect but i can understand it must be frustrating for people with high spec pc's having issues.

[A quick noob question]

It can be confusing, i couldnt use the flag pole in domination to teleport until i had ten points or summin, now i can join servers and use it all the time.

[What does it take to run this game?]

Yeah you need pixel shader 3 and your card has 2. 1gb ram isnt enough (ram is cheap these days), im not sure about your cpu.

Hoak in another thread has pointed out that you should use a 32bit os, xp seems to be working best, i have a dated system running xp and i can play on normal settings:

Core Duo E6600

2gb ram (low latency xms)

X1950XT 512mb

My view distance is 1600, res 1440x900.

I think it tells you something on screen if your rank isnt high enough when you try to get in, maybe where chat is i cant quite remember.

If the game is in progress you wait in the pool to all players are dead or they complete the mission, atleast with coop games which is the only game type i play!

Often you don't have to wait too long :)

Your welcome on my server when you get your retail, i host custom maps but i only have 3 so far. Hopefully i will get a few more done today :)

Ive played on quite a few different coop servers and never had to wait, i just click ok or change my class first then click ok.

Sorry ive just realised this is demo and im playing retail, do you really have to wait in demo?

To be honest i cant see alot of hardcore BF2 fans settling in this game, even if they do find teamwork. Your probably best to wait for PR on BC2 if there making it. If you like a game so much it dosent matter if you stick with it just cuz its getting old, i still play 1942 which i happen to think is way better than BF2. Ive tried converting a whole BF2 clan over to this game, i have not been successful with one of them. Its a shame cuz i wont be playing BC2, OFP2, MW2 or any of the others because they just bore me to tears after 1 week.
