I have the steam version of Arma 2. Could someone tell me where to put the mission file?

[Steam version question]

I downloaded a few missions, but I'm not sure where to put them. I see a few Arma2 mission folders but can't find where the program is installed; it the Steam download. :confused:

I could try a number of things mate, but I wouldn't have to had the campaign been done properly. It get very boring doing the same mission over and over and over waiting for some little activation in of the script to finally work.

The helo is not mine. It is sent after I called to say I had the pow. There is no option to allow me to fly it. It is all done by the AI. I've tried it 3 times and everytime the pow dies.

Porked campaign mate. That's all I can say. When you half to restart the entire campaign to get the ai to work; it's porked. Another screwed up thing is I have an aircraft factory, but when I try to buy a helo it says there is no factory. I have over $24,000, but it doesn't matter if the factory is not even acknowledged.

No he's right. It's scripted poorly and very predictably. It was so obvious the helo would get shot down. The campaign is full of bugs and just not that good I'm afraid.

That's wierd because I take him back in a Mi8 they send and he dies enroute everytime; even if I heal him before boarding the helo.

The campaign is really porked. This is just one of many many issues with the campaign. On top of that you're a USM and you have limited weapons and equipment. In fact no NVGs once you start working with NAPA etc.

However, your not listening to what I'm saying m8. I [i']did[/i] go through all the conversations, check the notes, look on the map etc and the mission is still confusing at times. As much as I love the game so far, as I said, it's mission execution can be somewhat "open to interpretation" and be rather unclear as to your next, pressing objective.

With all due respect, if it was as simple as you suggest then why are there absolutely loads of threads all asking the same questions on "What to do next?" in various missions?.

I agree mate. Everytime I take the helo to the location where the Marines are it gets damaged and when it returns for extraction is blows up. It doesn't matter where I tell it to land.

The game is good, but the campaign so far has been boring and useless. :(

Normally I am very nice but its 4:34 AM here and im not in the mood. Seriously, just listen to the conversations the NPCs tell you from the very start of the mission and you would know what to do.

Very ignorant reply to someone asking for help dude. :rolleyes: If you didn't want to help because you're tired then don't reply.

I'm having the same problems with the added issue of losing the helo.

[New Helicopter Pilots, a word of advice.]

I want to fly choppers and I'll practice when I get ArmA2. I was very active in the Falcon 4 community and love to fly. I've never played Arma or OFP online although I was very good at flying helos in OFP.

Where are all the clans to join once I'm ready for MP? :)
