What I meant to say was: The CH-53 replaced the CH-47 back in the day, and now the CH-53 is being replaced.

By "newer version" I meant they replaced the helicopter to better fulfill a similar role.

Best of luck to those waiting for this title on the 360, but I really can't see the hardware being able to handle it without some major neutering. Maybe Bohemia has some coding magic up their sleeve, who knows :)

I oftentimes like to play as a small group on my LAN, usually about 4-5 people. Is there a user mission out there that is friendly to that number of players?

Yea it's not the most intuitive thing in the world, going to Single Player in order to host a multiplayer coop campaign :P But you'll find it works much better for you.

[Vista or Windows 7 Seriously which performs better?]

Vista has been stable as a rock for me. Win7 RC has been stable as a rock. Windows 7 is like a cleaned up Vista with some nice UI enhancements. Basically, it's what Vista should have been originally.

[Cant get SLI to work with Arma 2]

Once the EVGA SLI Enhancer is installed, you need to go into the Nvidia Control Panel and add ARMA 2 to the program list. After using the Enhancer, the Nvidia Control Panel will recognise ARMA 2 when you manually add it in. From there, you can force ARMA 2 to use SLI, and adjust the number of frames to render ahead to whatever gives you the best performance.

I used this fix myself, and, using Everest, verified that ARMA 2 does indeed use both video cards now. My FPS skyrocketed too!

Are these steps the same for a SLI'd card like a GTX295? I've been on ATI for a while, this is my first "SLI" nVidia video card, so sorry for the n00b question.

awesome, please update with your results. I'm hoping it fixes some issues, because as it is it's very difficult to play on my GTX295. Ironically, the guy I sold my old card (ATI 4870) to runs the game like a dream.

[nVidia GTX295 - Only "Normal" Video Ram option?]

I'm running a nVidia GTX 295 with 2GB of video RAM. I can look at the arma2.cfg file and it has the 2gigs listed, however in the in-game video options I can only choose "Low" and "Normal" for Texture Detail and Video RAM. Am I missing something? (Oh, and I'm running Windows 7 x64 if that helps).

Also, I find I have really "floaty" mouse movement. Is this normal?
