What do you mean? I'm pretty much happy with BIS vehicles as soon as they make balance with other factions. But maybe someday, who knows?
  3. Thank you! You're right. There're only some basic materials present in the FireGeometry at the moment and the whole damage and penetration thing needs tweaking a lot. I plan to start working on this as soon as I finish making the armoured vehicles. To answer your second question there're four of them left (T72B, M1A1, Shilka and M163). T72 and M163 are almost ready. :-)))
  4. Thanks! I'll pay attention to this in the next update. :-)))
  5. About Kiowa, M60A3 and other custom vehicles. My plan is to adapt as many BIS vehicles as possible before starting modelling something else. Just because it's faster. I'm also not a fan of "having everything ever made" in the mod. There's a "you play too much Arma when..." post on the Armaholic forums, where I just loved the statement "you play too much Arma when you can name every M4 modification" :-))) Of course, we were talking about RPK-74. :-)) What's the problem with Alive mod? Not enough groups configured in cfgGroups?
  6. Thanks! I didn't think about the antirollbar stuff. I'll try to play with it. :-)))
  7. Thanks for the support, mate! :-))) Yes, M249 and RPK are also planned. Static mortars - why not. :-))) Can you please give a link to a mod where the ramp feature was implemented? P.S. Yesterday I was playing with user interface and found some new cool features. For instance, it seems that it's possible to make laser range device for tanks that work with a key press. Thank you very much! It seems that I came to the same conclusion that tweaking suspension helps. But it's far away from the parameters that you can see in Config Guidelines.
  8. About AGS and Kornet you're right, of course. They would be AGS-17 and Metis. :-)) As I said earlier configuring vehicles with new physX is a nightmare, because there're no rules, you have just to change values and see what's happen. It takes the hell amount of time and patience. Any information on this would be much appreciated! Thank you all very much for the feedback!
  9. Thank you! I like your missions very much!!! :-)))
  10. Thanks for the advice. I will check this. ---------- Post added at 10:40 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:39 AM ---------- Thank you!
  11. Thank you! :-))) This update was really a hard one. Vehicles in Arma3 are a nightmare. And I don't even want to think what would I face when I come to helicopters and planes. :-))))))
  12. Updated to v0.7!!! *Sounds issues after BIS patch 1.24 fixed *New vehicles BMP-2 and M2A2 *Added Engine Off action to AI drivers *Zeus compatible Download from Armaholic ~527Mb

You are impossible! D-30 gun that is shown on the video was retired from Russian Army a year ago. I would ask you to stop posting fakes... but I know you won't stop. You believe it's Russia, ok. So I leave you here with this video. A guy from Shakhtersk batallion clearly speaks about Ukranian artillery shelling cities before they start sweeping. Video is in Russian, sorry.

I don't know. I'm asking. :-)) About the conspiracy ask yourself why do you see Russia behind every door. You country has obvious problems with money. But you are buying tanks from a NATO country. And the most interesting thing is that NATO country sells you those tanks in the moment of civil war. Why? My version in that they were asked by US. And about the history of humanitarian convoy. Out International Ministry insists they have a note from yours with approval of sending this convoy given August 12. But this note was canceled next day by Yatsenuk's statement. Very strange, don't you think? An image has to be less than 100kb or it will be showed as a link.

So you still insist that US have nothing to do with it? :-))) A NATO country sells you tanks for 1/10 of their real price in the moment when you have a civil war. Isn't that what you call support? In the same situation in Lybia US have ruined the army and the whole country back into the stone age. Aren't you afraid that they somehow will change their priorities? :-) I'm really tired. If Russia can move tanks across the border freely, like you say, why the hell it can't move the humanitarian convoy that freely? Oh, that's an Evil Putin's plan... :-)))) ---------- Post added at 01:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:30 PM ---------- Thanks, man! :-)

So why do a NATO country send them to you? ;-))) For modernization?

And that's another proof of the fact that the conflict has a wider scale that it seems. Hungary sends old T-72 tanks to Ukraine. That tanks were sold by the price that was too low that attracted the attention of the journalists. The text is in Hungarian, but online translators help. There're links to official contracts in the text. http://www.hidfo.net/2014/08/12/hulladekvas-araert-eladott-honvedsegi-harckocsik-utban-az-ukrajnai-haboru-fele

I have said it clear several times. I'm against the war! If my country is really somehow involved in killing Ukranian people, which I doubt, because I know my country, I'm against that! I just don't like the situation when Russia is guilty only because it's Russia. When it's obvious that for my country it would be suicidal to create such a conflict on our borders in the period of economic success and at the same time I see a massive wall of fakes, facts turned inside out, biased articles and video reports that try to convince the world that Russia is responsible for whatever is going on in Ukraine. When the official report of Russian Ministry of Defense about the plane crash with radar records and hi-res sattelite pictures was answered by US officials that their word without proof costs more than any official documents presented by Russia. When a Russian humanitarian convoy for Eastern Ukraine becomes a threat number one in the world while Ukranian Army keeps shelling it's own citizens and even Russian territory. When US keeps pushing sanctions against my country without publishing any proof officially. What should I do? Should I kneel and ask for forgiveness? I'm sorry, I'm Russian! Is that what you want? Then I will answer with the words of George Herbert Walker Bush (vice-president at the moment) that he said after US military ship have striked down an Iranian civilian Boeing in Perisan Gulf in 1988. 290 people were killed. "I will never apologize for the United States of America, I don’t care what the facts are" Just change United States of America to Russia and you'll get the point. ;-)))

Ok. If I would suppose that Russia is involved. Not that I was convinced by your posts, but I really don't like fighting. If it's true? What's next?

There're several things that are obviously a propaganda. This is my own vision, of course, but it comes from a clear understanding that no organization can be trully independent especially when things are concerning international stuff. The main thing that is now used to create public opinion is to make you think that the majority of people around you think this or that way. Social networks, blogs, forums is a good place to create some kind of information background where even if you have an opposite view on the subject you will be overwhelmed by others and would be forced to change your opinion (if you don't have the nerve). One or two guys with couple of accounts each can control any topic easily. For instance, if you go to Russian part of Livejournal and open any post with some positive internal news, you'll see plenty of such negative comments. Everybody there knows these guys, even recognize them if they change accounts, but if you are new to LJ you'll really think Russians hate their country so bad. ;-) Polls are flowers from the same field. It's a place where you can get any results you want to make those who thinks different feel they are a minority. And these polls are useless until you know exact information about people that were asked. Yes, I understand how artillery works. And I also understand how the Army works. :-)) I don't know how is it accepted in other countries, but in Russian Army if you have a target, it must be destroyed. It is clearly seen that the target is obviously not destroyed. We see only a couple of hits in the area of Military Unit. You think Russian Artillery doesn't have enough shells. Do you? Or someone in the Ministry of Defence gave an order, but changed his mind? Rebels have Grads, yes. And the possibility of them shelling this Unit is much higher than someone from Russia have decided to fire from a single Grad to Ukraine territory. :-))) And this is a good example how they try to show Russia and Ukraine as two sides of the conflict. Which is not true. I see things in a different way. In narrow field of view what happens in Ukraine is the civil war. Yes there maybe some Russian volunteers, just like Serbian, Spanish, Ireland and even US. But the reason of the war is internal and obvious. Part of the country sees their future with the EU and other part doesn't. After the last revolution first part decided to dictate their will to the second part instead of negotiating and making a compromise which resulted in loss of Crimea and civil war in the East. In this FOV the fate of Ukraine is in hands of the Government of Ukraine. If they decide to stop the war, the war will stop. But the most interesting part happens in wide field of view, where this conflict is a continuation of US vs Russia conflict which is as old as a mammoth's shit. If we all remember how the things have started it was the US supporting the unconstitutional grab of power by the opposition in Ukraine. Without the support of all US media and continuous pressure on Yanukovich from US officials this would never happen. I really don't believe that their goal was "freedom" of the Ukraine or "democracy" or "think of any other ideological stuff" as they finally have just changed one oligarch president to another. :-)) And if US really stands behind this conflict (which a lot of things are pointing at) I predict this conflict will last very long until it's finished by a political decision in the US.

Worst shelling ever. If Russian army is firing that bad, I'm in trouble. And this BTR is a BTR-82A that have 30mm cannon instead of KPVT. This kind of BTRs are used only in Russian Army. Don't you think it's kind of stupid to send it to rebels? Are there any pictures of it on Ukranian territory? Amen! :-)

    Ukraine General

That's where a real problem is. How can I deny Russian involvement? How can Evil Russia not be involved? It's obvious for everyone! But at the moment it happens that Russia just sit and watch Ukranians kill each other. Which is sad, but there's nothing we can do. Three months of conflict has passed and not a single Russian passport, not a single rifle, nothing was found. What tanks and BTRs are you talking about when a humanitarian convoy can't even get close to the border without being mentioned in Obama's speech? Do you think that if some tanks or AA systems would pass the border, US satellites won't see it and next day everyone in the world see the proof of Russian Agression. All you have is Western media working 24/7 trying to hide the truth. And the truth is simple. There's no any Russian Aggression. But thanks to media, not many people in the world can accept this truth. Even if I would be threated with death, I would never believe to whatever Reuters say. It's a most biased information agency in the world. And I agree, compared to them Vice News are as neutral as it's possible. The real situation is that Ukraine Government really dreams about having Russian involvement in the conflict to gain help from NATO. But there's no involvement. Only volunteers who make their personal decisions. And time is running out...
  24. sudden

    Ukraine General

There's no proof that any weapons were delivered to rebels from Russia. About the volunteers, a border between Russia and Ukraine is about 2.5 thousands km long. For instance, Germany has it's whole border 3.5 thousands km long. The Ukraine-Russia border was almost opened till this spring. No fences, no trenches, only Checkpoints on roads. And now you blame Russia that it doesn't close that huge part of the border so fast? How should we do it? Can you even imagine how much money and effort it will take? Why won't Ukraine do it from it's side? Maybe you're right. I mean I wouldn't do this, I think.

I mean, I can understand Serbians come to Crimea after what NATO did to their country. Orthodox faith could be the reason also. I can understand Russian volunteers come to Eastern Ukraine, because we (I mean Russians and people from Eastern Ukraine) have so many links and things in common that everybody here feels involved. I can't support it, because I think that every war suxx and killing people doesn't solve any problems. But at least I can understand these reasons. But what could be the reason for a US citizen to come to fight in Ukraine? Other side of the world, totally different people, mentality, faith, everything. Ukraine roots? Symphathy? Come on! Or he trully believes in all that "FREEDOM" stuff? Or he just watches too much TV?
