Edit: corrected. meant to say Thief 3. Thief 2 was very good.

Best presentation of E3 so far in my opinion. Nervous as hell but his passion shines through. Day 1 purchase for me. http://www.unravelgame.com

Just a lag fest for me now. not even worth playing unless I want a throbbing headache.

    Grand Theft Auto V

It's fast, maneuverable, drives over virtually everything without losing control. Throw in some macros for tossing explosives, aimbot and exploiting Passive mode and you are pretty much unkillable. According to some posts on the steam forum you can put a $1000 bounty on them and that prevents them from using Passive mode making them easier to kill and the AP pistol can kill the driver and passenger. I also read you get nicked for $7000 if you destroy the car. not sure if that's true or not. personally, I just leave the server when someone goes on a Kuruma rampage. The other thing that annoys me is the spawning placement after you die, it's too easy to get stuck in a cycle of dying because it's too easy for the killer to circle around and hunt you down again before you can figure out where you are because of spawn disorientation and having to rearm your weapon, by the time you get your head together the guy is on you again.

    Grand Theft Auto V

I just want Rockstar to remove that bloody "Passive mode" People are exploiting the hell out of that in MP. tons of people are using it to get within shooting range of people and then jumping out of passive mode and killing you. I don't know how it fully works but people jump in and out of it fast enough to get on top of you, kill you and then zoom away in passive mode, you have no way to defend yourself from them. A lot of suspicious players are also fond of those armored up Karuma's. http://gta.wikia.com/File:Kuruma_Armored_GTAO_Front_Quarter.png

    Star Wars Battlefront: impressive trailer

Not sure if that was the same story, but I vaguely remember reading something from a game developer about a meeting he described as being nothing more then facing off with psychopaths in suits.

    Star Wars Battlefront: impressive trailer

Valve just gave developers power to ban users from their Steam games. That's not going to end well. Remember all the Youtube accounts being nuked for "Copyright infringement", including TotalBiscuit nearly losing his over bad reviews.

    Star Wars Battlefront: impressive trailer

Yup, and a former EA CEO is on record stating EA will pull ads from magazines and sites that don't give them at least the minimum score they are happy with.

    Star Wars Battlefront: impressive trailer

No, DICE created the trailer at extremely high resolutions with oodles of AA at unplayable framerates and then downsampled it. they do that for the screens also, they admitted to it when people asked why BC2 "Gameplay" trailers were so clean looking as compared to the actual game using the most powerful hardware available. I can't link to the statement because it was on the old EA UK forums which is now long gone. The June 2015 PC gamer also makes it clear that what they saw at the demo and what the trailer looks like are not the same. the Aliasing on foliage is very noticeable. Patrick Bach stated that many of effects in the trailer are not currently possible in realtime. It's only a few Youtubers who are drooling over more exclusive footage and Ronku cash that comes from a major release like this who are claiming it looks as good as the trailer.... Star wars, Star trek.... big money to be made on those IP's. people will say anything to guarantee a slice of it. Remember BF4.... Youtubers kept their mouths shut about the condition of that game and then babbled a bunch of excuses after the Ronku payola scheme leaked out. anyone who didn't tow the EA line found themselves no longer invited to events.

    Star Wars Battlefront: impressive trailer

But that's a tech demo, doing that in a full game is different. DICE has already admitted all their trailers are not created in realtime and Patrick Bach himself stated many of the lighting effects are not currently possible to create in Frostbite game at playable framerates. Promotional "screenshots" and trailers are rendered at extremely high resolutions with stupid amounts of AA and then downsampled to 1080p. Someone from Gamespot was brave enough to state that demo they saw does not look as good as the "In engine" trailer.

    Grand Theft Auto V

Probably not, it's the usual disinformation campaign that the hack sellers and their customers wage when they get spanked. They'll latch on to any excuse they can to try and get bans overturned or try to hurt sales of games they don't have any new third party apps like SweetFX or FRAPS to blame so they use the modding situation as a scapegoat. A lot of the big hack sellers have forums dedicated to discussion about getting bans overturned and spreading disinformation on forums. I don't know the exact details but hackers are sucking people into joining missions that pay out tons of cash I see it all the time in the online chat, as far as I know Rockstar will just take the money if they find out you participated in it. Best to be safe and turn down any offers for earning huge amounts of cash.

    Grand Theft Auto V

Losing a vehicle to being flipped upside down is next to impossible. I haven't played GTA 4, but destroying your own cars in GTA V is nearly impossible. even getting trapped in tight spots is pretty easy to wiggle out of. It's not a game breaker but there really isn't much worry about losing vehicles to reckless driving.

    Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/Daesh) Discussion

1.5 Billion Muslims: 2 Nobel prize winners in science 13.3 Million jews: over 100 in science and finance, intellectual pursuits. Blowing up Buddha's and burning books in Afghanistan... now Iraq and likely other places. Women forced to wear tents. I can go on and on. There is a pattern, all the mental gymnastics in the world are not going to change the overwhelming evidence that Islam is a religion and political system that drags people and civilizations backwards, not forward. ============ Update on the guy at CAGE calling Jihadi John a poor victim of MI5 harassment. Mr. Qureshi's world is going to start getting a little bit smaller.

Post links to Jewish success = Nazi Logic fail Jihad: Translates to "Struggle" Mein Kampf: Translates to "My struggle" Coincidence? Maybe you'd like to give an explanation as to why security forces were on this guys tail in the first place?

    Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/Daesh) Discussion

Australia is going to cut off the welfare payments and revoke citizenship of dual nationals. Canada is thinking about doing the same thing. Thankfully we have a Prime Minister who has the balls to call this what is is and make efforts to fight it unlike Obama and other leaders in Europe who can't even name the enemy and like to call acts of terrorism "Workplace violence". To be fair with European leaders though. The shear numbers of Muslims in Europe (58 Million) and Geography is not on their side. Canada, Australia and the USA are protected by 2 oceans and a lot less open ports. The majority of Muslims are peaceful, but so were the Germans and Japanese and millions died in 2 world wars the majority are irrelevant, All it takes is one guy with a bomb or a gun to do a lot of damage and then melt back in to the larger population. 19 guys with box cutters took over 3 commercial jets and killed 3000 people on September 11, 2001.

    Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/Daesh) Discussion

Read what you just wrote: "the best knowledge saved from the ancient times" Meaning they did not create it. Someone else did before Islam showed up led by a violent warlord who married a 6 year old. There is a grand total of 2 Muslims on that list of Nobel Laureates for sciences... impressive for a population of 1.5 Billion people compared to Jews who make up 0.2% of the worlds population (13.3 million) have been chased and expelled from dozens of countries for 2000 years yet account for 24% of Nobel laureates in intellectual pursuits such as science and economics. The rest are mostly people who were likely given the awards for political reasons. IE. Arafat the same way parents give their kids a cookie so they stop screaming and stomping their feet. As for comparing Islam to what Christianity did in the past, well that's the past. This is the year 2015. with a few exceptions in Africa, we don't see Christians lopping off heads and stoning people. The worst the west has is the Westboro Church and that's just a bunch of idiots screaming and holding signs. Now back to Jihadi John, This guy is trying to say that Jihadi John joined ISIS because security agencies didn't allow him to go on vacation and treated him poorly. Ya, makes total sense, maybe he'd like to explain why Jihadi John was on their radar in the first place. I'm shocked he didn't blame the jews, I'm sure CAGE does with their non-english speaking audience. That game doesn't go over well with English speakers. T

    Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/Daesh) Discussion

Check the backgrounds provided by the parents, family and friends of people going over there to join ISIS. There's a common theme, Middle class to well off families, straight-A students, lots of friends, decent jobs. The poor, lonely folks with no opportunities narrative doesn't hold up to scrutiny. Al-Qaeda was the same deal, doctors, lawyers, engineers, University grads, good family...etc. ---------- Post added at 03:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:22 PM ---------- That's what Islam does, it's destroys, drags civilizations back into the 7th century. The middle east was once the cradle of civilization, creating great things and then Islam showed up and everything stopped and started sliding backwards. There's a bumper sticker that says, "Islam: Stuck on stupid since '622'"..... Meanwhile their greatest enemy is doing this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Jewish_Nobel_laureates

And once again the leading cause of people becoming terrorists is poverty and lack of jobs narrative takes another shot to the balls. ISIS executioner 'Jihadi John' identified as Mohammed Emwazi http://www.thenewscommenter.com/news/isis-executioner-jihadi-john-identified-as-mohammed-emwazi/271594 Well to do family, educated, good grades in school, lots of friends, well traveled.... just like pretty much all the leading terrorist leaders.
