Started playing with this, with a friend in multiplayer coop.
First off the mission is awesome, but could use some help. First off how does one start getting prestige going early on, can you do this by just building a base or do you specifically need to capture a factories, etc?
Secondly, from a base building standpoint are their buildings that generate prestige for you, like does the silo do something special since it costs so much?
Finally, we are finding it quite hard to play with just 2 of us, we cant seem to get much on the side of friendly forces helping us, we mostly just us facing constant enemies being spawned. We are playing on easy, maybe there is an issue with easy setting. It could be that we just dont understand how to play, we are reading the information in the briefing section of the mission but we may be to dense to understand it. It would be beneficial if bad guys wouldnt just spawn around us, but would have to be generated from their bases to come hunt for us.
Finally, Finally, how could one port this over to the smaller island of stratis for better performance, I see that there is a whole lotta stratis, but the gameplay seem highly divergent to that of whats provided for altis?

I get this too, at a distance, shoot --> blood splat from hit --> half second calc delay it looks like --> ragdoll death animation.
Its like it calls the ragdoll code execution upon death detection and then executes, giving a visual delay. This was present in arma 2 as well. I think its just more noticeable because we are looking at it to see the new animations.

ARMA 3 voices are significant improvement, how soon we forget ARMA 2.

One thing that was talked about during development was doing a better job with unit/squad commanding. I know many of you are use to, and may love the f-key and number menu commands, but for me its a bit clunky.
That beings said, I have not played the Alpha yet, but this is something I am looking forward to seeing enhanced, and am wondering if its still the same squad command system as before ARMA 2 reference wise, or has it been enhanced to be more user friendly?

Nice, I have been waiting for someone to do a overarching texture mod. Hummer needs better textures in my opinion.

Does it place streets or roads in the city, vs just having desert?
Can you sync civilian/vehicle module with a town and have it populate them in the city in a meaningful way?

I like this mod a good deal, but unfortunately my computer cant keep up with it, is a list somewhere that outlines which components of this mod are less taxing from a cpu/gpu standpoint?

Was thinking about picking up OA since GoGamer.com has it on sale for 29.99 today, but I wanted to know if and how it will affect my ARMA 2 upon merging them.
For example if I go back and play ARMA 2 campaign what benefits will it have from OA? ie: new damage modeling, flairs, graphics, weapon penetration, flir, etc?
Basically want to gauge the overall benefit of the expansion, beyond a new land and few new vehicles.

How can I be the squad leader if I am not the multilayer host in the campaign?
The issue is my friend has way more bandwidth than I do, but does not want to be the group leader, but we cannot find out how I can play the role of the squad leader, and let him play a squad member.
Any help?

nice map. while i love panthera map, it can be difficult for warfare (especially bennys when the ai comander relocates the base and flips over!). my only complaint would be the same as above concerning the low res sat map. runs smooth with lots of open terrain for epic battles. i ported over benny's warfare for it to test and its very fun. still finding little "suprises" such as fortified areas you included. thanks for this!Would it be possible for you to share your benny port, I would love to play it on this map?

Is there a way for all vehicles to be created unlocked? It doesn't work the same way from arma1 warfare and haven't found anything new in the forums.Tried, I communicated this earlier. Individuals are really against realism of being able to get in and out of any vehicle.
And to the theft people, sure I get it, but if I want to play it solo or coop with friends should I be punished for the acts of others on public servers?

I think having the vehicle locked is more of an anti-theft device to keep other players from doing precisely what you said, shoot all the occupants, steal the vic.But if I shoot out the AI from an enemy, I think I should be able to take their vehicle.
Why I cant get into a armed pick-up used by the resistance is a bit annoying. If I do the work to wipe the driver and gunner out without getting killed I think I should at least be able to capture the vehicle.
Its not anti-theft against the enemy. Its fine leave "Lock" in for the team I am on, but make enemy team vehicles unlocked to me.

I just want at least for vehicles to become unlocked if there are no alive units in them. Its annoying to kill units in a vehicle and then not be able to take it.

What script do I edit to set vehicle "lock" to "unlocked" by default?
or disable vehicle lock in general?

Green unit triangle indicators: Can these be changed to a different color, green is hard to see when everything around me is green. Blue would be nice, any way to do this?

SaOK, spawn points are not being created at mission start, if I start a multiplayer game and select one of the two Opfor slots currently. This is only happening when trying to play as opfor.
