I'm talking about the game detecting the available memory erroneously and disallowing you from selecting certain menu options.

I stand corrected. I just noticed that I'm restricted on a couple of my graphic options with 8gb of ram.

Update: Setting my ram to 4gb has enabled the texture detail and Video memory to be set to higher values than normal. Definately something

up regardless of which type of gpu you are using. Thanks for the tip!

Update2: Unfortunately I seem to get worst performance with this workaround :(

:)Great video. I always tell my wife that if you really want to have proof that BF exists then whenever you see it you have to start running towards it, not in the opposite direction. However, seems no one is willing to test this theory out.

Running Vista 64, couple gtx 280's (186.18), and 8gb of ram with no graphic anomolies.

In my situation, the game is playable performane wise. If you want to discuss bugs, thats an entirely different position. However, any pc gamer knows that if you can't handle bugs don't purchase the game on the release date. There is no such thing as a 'bugless' pc game launch, period!

[White Glasses?]

You know where you go to edit profile and choose face and voice thing. When i click on the different glasses they just show up white. I also have a friend who has this problem... We both have steam version.

Sorry if this is an already known bug.

Yea, noticed that myself. Only pair that shows up for me other than white is the yellow tactical glasses. Everything else is white. Shouldn't be hard to fix when they get around to it.

Srry if already posted, however during briefings if you pan the camera far enough you can see your headless body. Not sure about other parts of the campaign.

[Is there a Hotfix in the works for AA?]

I'm hearing at some of the gaming web's I hang at that currently the retail version does not allow AA, but the demo does. And, that a hotfix is in the works that will bring the retail version up-to-date with the demo. Is this true? Thanks :)
