  1. I have a question

    On the city map will there be ditches and hills? or is it just a flat area without diffrent heights?

    I mean it looks ok so far but there is almost no landscape cover possible without ditches and stuff.

    yep i will put lost of cover in, i just finished putting in piles of rubbish and made roadblock's out of rubbish piles and we will make ditches to hide in the side of some roads :)


  2. mopp gear is a lot baggier and thicker than that. i suggest you do an actual model edit if you're serious about this. otherwise, it's just a run of the mill reskin.

    i suggest you keep you comments to your self

  3. yea sorry guys i have had some problems with my pc and have not been online for a week or so but the project is still safe and still a "go" thanks to Ruben and his incredible pc tec skills.I will be working hard on the Baghdad map whilst the other mod members work on the hummers,guns and unit's then we still have to get a campaign together i will get a update on everything with the next few days

  4. EMERY: I have many photo's of Baghdad locations not just the landmarks, probably compatible satellite terrain data, maps and first hand knowledge.

    If anything is of use, let me know as I'd love to see an accurate and detailed map.

    and i don't think i will be making all the landmarks only the swords and he tomb of the unknown solder

    it will just take to long other wise


  5. just add more turrets,the guns will be mounted we are working on ways to make it so only when the player is in the gunner seat the guns will be seen by all

    it will be just like shooting a 50cal mg on the top of a humvee but you will be shooting a m4 or a saw out of the window

    So basiclly the hummer will have 3 gunner positions

    GUNNER1 mk19

    GUNNER2 Brads shotgun seat M4

    GUNNER3 Trombley's back seat left saw

    this will also only be on the mk19 hummer the lead gun car

    the real worry if the loss of vision the you will loose by having the guns there and the butt of the gun will be in the players head (like on the MHQ gun)and you will only have a small degree of movement

    so we will test and maybe release them in a beta to see what ppl think

    but as for now the map is taking up most of the time we wont to release the map with the rest of the mod so have been concentrating on that, for now the hummers can wait

    still heeps to do so stay frosty gents

  6. Generation kill wont be the same if we cant shoot out thw humvees! :(

    Unfortunetally I think its not too easy to mod, though I heard PR mod is making such feature in their ArmA2 mod.

    we can and will be shooting out of humvees

    its just a matter configure more turrets on the vehicle in question just takes time to get it right

    we will be making 2 maps one of central Baghdad and another but the location has yet to be decided

    we will be using arma1 buildings and some arma2 buildings as the arma2 buildings are not relay the kind of buildings you would find in Baghdad we will be also using opx buildings and objects and some buildings that i have made i will post screen shots of these soon

    because the Baghdad map will have lots of objects; we will have to keep some of the detail down to a minim but i ashore you that i wont to make the Baghdad map tactility efficient (ie on rooftops in buildings FOB's)

    i am making a hole bunch of new objects to enhance the Baghdad experience

    Ruben have started to work his mojo on the hummers animating them and looking into the option to create the camp

    i made a movie so we can show you all where we are at with the hummers sit back and take a look at what we got to offer thanks for watching and keep a eye on this thread for more updates:D
