  1. I am glad to see once again plenty of work going into this mod. Modularity certainly will resolve issues with having use all the options of that version. I like to see new GUI options in menu to add new options mode to able ingame change everything not needing going back out of game change the values, so every options can be either selected on or user selection how high the selection is.
  2. I ve been waiting this kind of mod to series so long since the fading in dust in previous instalment over distance always made so hard to distinguish allie to enemy, finally someone delivered it so my big greeting to that.

Ur mod has been to me de facto the most convenient way to get some idea what the machinery and warfare looked back then, and no other full priced NAM' pc game could display the vast terrain anyway as huge and free to fully utilize the feeling of being there. The amount of content to play with has been one mayor point and terrains have all the elements of vietnam countryside. Thought A1 dont support jungle nature yet as well some other games the next instalment should do it better. With some more work going on this mod series I hope to see A2 version getting just bigger and better.

    Is there any towns size over 1 square mile terrains, not based in middle-east (nothing problem with the area but i want some variety in this game) ?   7. OA setting is a step to bring this game support multi terrain scenarios missing still some more tropical. Even though I dont speak a word of Arabian my spam to plenty of ts servers (mayority of them from this community) have made so many people think I am crazy Taliban terrorist warning them of coming suicide attack, BIS should definetely ask me to do Arabian male voices.

    Its not same than they are selling addons by releasing as extra content to fill their their DVDs. There would be much more addons and mods in those CDs if theyr could get more easier way to authorisation to release them. For Arma2 publicity as much there its out in any sort of content, for more popular this game could be. I ve hardcopied every single addons I ve downloaded since 2001 and there is 100 DVDs of them waiting any day to get again played and way to backup if there is not internet working or found websites.

    Glad that you like it. LOS depends your AI skill levels in minimum they cant sometimes spot units visible to players but in higher usually do.
  12. I really pray that BIS can increase their efficiency to do things. Hire 1000x coders to fix all games from past 3 years you have released and then concenterate to next things after certain amount of 98% happiness of all customers. I am opposite all western units and culture so bring me damn african civil war/sino-indian or any war and geo location not including anglo-europian forces and languages (too bad that 97.2 % generally of internet players BIS games seems to from this countries when I have kept stats for 7 years). I can just ask you get your organization and workload to order all this mess being around for years and adding new release wont make it any easier but new cash is never bad for you. For better future willing to you.

    VME PLA MOD for ARMA II

    If there ever would be same amount of stuff that you got in latest version of oFP mod, I ve would be hugely greatful. There was really enought units to full cti nation group and therefore would like to see that in A2 too. I wish your team would been enought keen to mod to this game, there really wont be any other ones where those addons would suit better. The community in asia is still too small, so some local militaries mods would certainly do some promotion. I cant wait to put China VS Japan/S korea type scenario instead old US/RUS. The quality you ve represent so far been 1st class. Can any non-chinese person take part of ur team? I can easily read ur forum when translated.

    Yeah I want have full end out pink colored BIS military games theme on my home. They cant only selling games to survive so they need to seek cash too from different goods and merchandise products sales . Not let them do what they best talent is to do.

  17. I do not like the most of modularity and paying of extra to any single extra content. I want single pact that is enormous enough to include them "all-in-one" . This single unit though is extremily flexible then and let users dedice what options enabled to install. I would readily to pay single time as much is there content, whit full physics and such the community dream game I would pay 500£ but whit current A2 game 100£. Perhaps it doesnt work lik this way in real world, but there should be options to be able directly pay to BIS extra money to help them develop next installment and every penny is directed only to support that. Any extra cash of retail game out of unit should be considered. BIS should foremost try to sell it out from they own internet p2p service, without any other parties involved. Why cant they distribute themselves without typical publisher who usually take the mayority of profit. If they sell A2 25u BIS get 5u profit of product total money, 50u > 15u, 100u > 40u, 200u > 120u so they get increased rate from single unit when the price go up the weight of product remains same so the cost of production, retail and transportation wont go proportationally whit price.
  18. MP is as tactical as is people playing it in the server. With random server you get random gameplay that can be tk and all typical antics behaviour there is of course plenty of server who take everything as seriously than real militaries planning mission hours and kicking any people disobeying. You can mod minimap if that is must have to you.

    VBS2 engine differences ?

    There is plenty of people in this forums who would go for it sake of realism instead this public version, but arent able to go for due its price, thought its getting cheaper by years over and might be soon be pretty ok to get. Its definetely the worth of in what it is able to do, so its more than justifed ask that price, too bad all us poor people arent able to purchase so we have to relay to games instead of training sims what we like more to do.

    How US can deploy LHD to Caspian Sea when there is no point (rivers) to drive it there? Other option is its actially in Black Sea as USSR old place to get into mediterrean. Fictional or real landscape, no matter which one both are ok as they are well presented and feel real.

    storyline and ofp

    It was interesting story for first time playing it throught but it was very linear straight forward mission after mission design only some weapons/ammo and soldiers changing. Certain freedom of approaching objectives gave so much more vivid feeling on time when there really wasnt that much of that type of games around. If you did try to explore everything were done in every missions, always going to out from waypoints either mission design was automatically killing player crossing the mission radius, or there were some lone tanks all around. I still remember I killed everything in all 3 campaigns I could found on map every single idle t80s some villages preventing player freely travelling in islands and such. I would like to have elements of having multiple characters having their own speciality one special force guy, pilot, tanker, and regular infantry grunt. The dialogue and voice acting were better but you overall were too restricted to total outcome of decision you made. You either succeed or failed in objectives and that did kept you on track. OFP campaigns were afterall very much of scripted, so there were every time same thigns trigged in certain moment and you could anticipate second time playing them. In A2 there is plenty of things to keep player interested, but yes there arent all the time that same sense of total war illusion on background, going on were whole world future will be on decided there. The clash of superpowers using their entire arsenal wiping each others out, would be way to its to be done. We can just wait and see how many SP campaigns will be made by community and there should again be CWC mods bringing the same missions to this engine so direct comparision should be easy to made. I just miss the amount of quality made content made in OFP.

    BIS hassled too much whit CM. They should have broken immediately after OFP 01 release when they got some cash to get independence. Budget have been low due no money, but there is now plenty more money to make the way currently BIS does the business. I dont see any reason , that under any bigger publisher would be any benefit to game, sure there is then much more mainstreamed games to then followed and whole orginal idea of this community would be vanished totally. They should making the ultimate military SIM/ game hire 5000 chinese/indian IT employees with food salary. Take the best integration people from community as manager/advisor and keep your current BIS employees as control management unit. In few years we can have a product without any single bug/ complishing every single request/suggestion from any people in this community ever made. There is one product I sure know which is very much everything I ve been asking I dont also want to talk this scenarios alternatives as that BIA product to militaries.

    Why isnt the English version in English?

    I have been avoiding being part of any team or squad so have to share the same crew of tanks and getting their native language text as commands. there is kind of possible to delete all other language strings lines in configs files, it worked me in oOFP.
