  2. Hello all! I just wanted to come on here and well.. release my first ever PvP missions, or TvT missions. FireTeam : FireFight - Team(8) vs Team(8) - Max 16 players! Version 1.6 - Tested: Report bugs or problems v1.6 changes: Updated TK Script, Updated VAS Script Description: Fight close quarters in a fierce Team vs Team battle, choose day or night... first to hold the point and collect 600 points wins! I've taken away grenades, and launched grenades/AT weapons as this is pretty close quarters. It would become a grenade fight. FireTeam : Agia Marina - Team(16) vs Team(16) - Max 32 players! Version 1.6 - Tested: Report bugs or problems v1.6 changes: Updated TK Script, Updated VAS Script Description: Fight Close Quarters through the town of Agia Marina during the day or night, your team must take and hold bridge at all cost! Use the buildings around you, to out smart the enemy! Must hold it and gain 800 points to win. I've taken away grenades, and launched grenades/AT weapons as this is pretty close quarters. It would become a grenade fight. FireTeam : Air Station - Team(12) vs Team(12) - Max 24 players! Version 1.6 - Tested: Report bugs or problems Description: Take the fight to the Air Station and try to secure a building, hold it against the opposing force and hit 700 points to win! I've taken away grenades, and launched grenades/AT weapons as this is pretty close quarters. It would become a grenade fight. FireTeam : AirField - Team(16) vs Team(16) - Max 32 players! Version 1.6 - Tested: Report bugs or problems Description: Fight across the Airfield on Stratis, with plenty of areas for cover.. get to the area in the middle and hold it till you reach 800 points... once that happens, you'll send the enemy home crying! I've taken away grenades, and launched grenades/AT weapons. To Install: just put both PBO files into your MP missions folder in your ArmA 3 directory in the steam folder. Removed multiple links, will only update pack when all missions have an update. Agia Marina and FireFire have been updated to v1.6, updated scripts.     Update: Ok, I'm done updating for now. Will only update the pack of missions when all the missions in such pack have been updated. I hope you enjoy the great TvT fun, when Altis comes around I plan on making a pack full of many more areas and the such. For now, I'm going to concentrate on more areas, and different game types. Version 1.6! Updated TK script and VAS script. Added Two new areas, Airfield and Air Station.

    Update: Updated FireTeam : Agia Marina to v1.5 - more cover given to both sides from respawn to town. Removed Old Outpost - Way Too Open : Working on a new area. Added download link to download both Missions at once. If you already have FireTeam : FireFight then all you have to download is FireTeam : Agia Marina.

    Question, I put this into one of my missions. Was playing that mission on a dedicated server today, I noticed though that their wasn't a 'Forgive' option listed, only a punish option?

    Why no neutral faction setting?

    Well Rogue... Mods will do that for you. Already to late to make a huge change like that. Not just that, this game really isn't about being a Neutral in a war conflict.
  8. Well.. it's worth I try, I don't really have many performance problems per say... runs a lot better then ArmA 2 did for me. But the extra FPS gain from this (if any) will be nice!

  10. If I hear that damn ocean, from ArmA 2... Sounding like a hurricane or the wind blowing like a tornado... I'll throw my headset/speakers out the window. God that was annoying. I LOVE how the Ambient sounds are lower in volume, in a warzone the only crap you hear is your rifle, your heart, and the scream of your brothers.
  11. In my opinion, it would add to atmosphere... but I don't believe it should have the man power diverted into doing that on all the weapons. I rather them concentrate on bug fixing, optimization, and getting the rest of the game completed and shipped out in waves during alpha/beta. After the work is done in that aspect, if they have the time before release... then maybe then. But, that's doubtful.

    Self shadows in vehicles

    Personal opinion honestly, if you don't like it why not just turn shadows off? It's just a little more added atmosphere in my opinion, so I like it.

    arma 3 steam activation limit?

    Shouldn't be. I've never had an issue with any game on steam and how many times I could enable it. (But, not to say it probably hasn't happened to someone?)

    Arma3 Sharks!?!

    I'm not sure about the 'pose a threat' part. That would just piss me off more then anything, since IRL sharks don't just attack EVERYONE. But, seeing them swim around would be quite awesome.

    Thanks! Well, if you check up above. I made a more open but, to win a team has the hold the outpost building. (from the inside) I plan on making more in different areas, as well as different objectives... More to come soon! :)

    Arma 3 DayZ port? Any news?

    ^ Actually, anybody cannot. I'm pretty sure doing that would be against BIS rules, since you would be porting something not made by you, when not given approval. Like I said, it most definitely will not ever see the light of day in ArmA 3, as it could threaten sales of the standalone game.

    Alright, so far they look great! Also, will the Stitch lines on the ACU uniform be fixed? Shown, here. Not the best image of it, but the stitches are way to noticeable compared to the ones I have IRL. Ether way, the overall quality of the ones I've tested/looked at. Looked great, took some screenshots.

    You should probably make a thread in the Addons complete section for this beta release. It would give a lot more attention to your addon, for the people that are watching that section for mods like this :) Downloading now!

    DayZ will not be coming to ArmA 3. It would probably ruin sales of the standalone. I don't think they want to do that.

  25. Looking good! Cannot wait! Will these have higher res textures now that you are porting into ArmA 3? And will all the previous scripts from the A2 version work in A3?
