I've been trying to figure this out and it seems like all I find is how to do tasks and stuff. Is there anyone who can clearly explain how you do the Notes section of the map that includes Briefing, Situation, Mission, Execution, & Support?

I want to say good job on the mod. I like it, but I'm severely disappointed by the lack of a server key.

Been working on a script to have a helicopter crash land, but the only problem is that every time the thing just explodes instantly no matter what it lands on, even if it is perfectly open, flat ground.
Is there any way to change the durability for a short time and then back to normal or anything along those lines that might make this work?

We need a fucking full sized fully functional Baneblade right now. Someone made Battlestar Galactica for ArmA 1 so I'm betting it can be done.

Any way I can do something similar to this with my server without having to make everyone download a mod? The difficulty settings seem to not want to be custom done for some reason.

I made a map, and I'm still not very good at all when it comes to scripting. Anyway, the basic premise has the BLUFOR defending an area and Independents attacking. Problem is, when the A10 that the BLUFOR has enters the area it automatically seizes it ending the game even though it's still full of 100+ enemies.
Anyone know how to fix this?

I've been trying to make it where this mod is allowed on my clan's server. Only problem is that when I put the key in the folder and everything, and even when I just let any addons be allowed it kicks everyone saying that the mod isn't allowed.
Nothing we seem to do fixes it and there's a couple of people who it will allow to connect but then the mod doesn't work in the server.
Any ideas on how I can fix this?

I don't want to see gore, it's never done right. I would have really liked to just see bullets holes where the round impacts though. Decals aren't that hard to do BI...

Sigh... The L85 was never broken, many of the queens enemies met a sh!tty death at the end of it. It had problems, but so has US weapon systems which you also made better - it's called progression.The A1 jammed - the only people who complained about it were mongs who couldn't clean and maintain it properly
Cold Weather - Yes, it did have a problem in extreme cold ie Norway
Cocking Handle - the old Cocking handle because of its shape could (extremely rarely) force an ejected case back into the breach, the new cocking handle fixes this with its shape that is designed to 'deflect' the casings if they come into contact with it.
The A2 is an improvement yes, but the A1 was nowhere near as bad as it the press made it out to be. The only ones who moaned about it were people that have very little/no experience with the weapon and REMFs who couldn't look after it properly.
The A2 is now made more idiot proof and brought into the 21st Century with it's upgrade. Many argue it's heavy, I say stop being a girl, many argue the SUSAT is outdated, I agree, hence the new ACOG upgrade. Tell me this, how did the M16A2 hold up in 2003?
It held up well enough far as I know, just have to maintain it properly. I went in in 2005 so I had an M16A4 that was a fucking dream of a weapon overall. Some of the older Brits I encountered in Iraq still worried about the mag randomly dropping out of the rifle while they ran which was another wonderful flaw of the A1. It really isn't that great of a rifle, but since it is what the Brits decided to go with (God help them since they have all those wonderful, and cheaper, H&K rifles and things over there in Europe) I fully support this modding endeavor.
Though just as a last shot at it, I seriously got to laugh at the Brits for talking so much shit about the M16 back in the day then designing a rifle themselves that was less reliable and a full kg or so heavier and meanwhile the H&K guys are offering to make them a cheaper and better rifle and they want the old rifles fixed instead. In the end, they get a mediocre rifle for a lot more than it would have cost them to get an exceptional rifle from H&K.

If it was more polished I would say so. I love the game, but it annoys me in a lot of ways as well.

Funniest broken weapon ever made that L85 is.
Though I think they fixed that with the L85A2 so unfortunately we can't laugh that the Brits got beat in battle because of a crafty Paki with a can of Aqua Net.

Basically, helicopters have an ENORMOUS explosive radius. That is just the helicopter itself exploding. It will take out everything within like 70m and can damage stuff out to like 150m which is insane so in my opinion it should be reduced A LOT.

Anyone else agree that the explosions from destroyed helicopters is WAY too large? The things are like a small tactical nuke.
Basically anything within 200m of them is crippled or destroyed. I'm planning on running an air cavalry unit and I gota say that the risk is insane because of this horribly unrealistic explosive radius that helicopters have.

They aren't in the game. Think they're a little bit unnecessary in the first place for a game like this anyway considering there's already LGBs.
