    Windexglow, glad you could join us from the gamefaqs forums.

    And what you all are describing seems to be the same thing as Silent Hill's "impossible space."

    They used a lot of impossibly placed hallways or rooms, or stairwells that really shouldn't exist. This was one of the major factors in the creepiness.

    I mean, imagine if, in your own house, you had a kitchen on the first floor, and upstairs, right above it, beneath the tub in your bathroom, you found a secret entrance to a spiral stairway that led into your basement and is surrounded by a concrete wall so you can't see outside of it. This spiral stairway would have to pass right through the center of your kitchen. You run back down to the kitchen and, low and behold, there's no stone cylinder going through your kitchen.

    You promptly move out of the house and have it demolished after hearing scratching noises coming from the bathroom. xD

    But seriously, it's empty "shouldn't exist" places that can drive people up the wall. I wonder if this effect helps people have hallucinations in the desert?

    About the whole anti-aliasing thing.

    Is it supposed to be a really noticeable difference between 2xAA and 8xAA? Cause I messed around with it for awhile in Far Cry 2, and eventually took a couple of screenshots. I can't see any difference to be honest. Maybe a couple of dirt smudges on a building in the distance were clearer, but it didn't improve my ability to see enemies.

    Play it as though you really would die. Then you find yourself making decisions like: would I really run across that gap? Don't I have any smoke grenades? Do I already think that there's someone over there?

    It's slower gameplay, but if you wish for longer gameplay... ;)

    Worked wonders on Call of Duty 4. Getting 20 kills and maybe 1 or 2 deaths in a match by not playing it like Counter Strike.

    Oh Jesus, Delta, when I saw you say Obama and Bananas in the same sentence I thought you were about to say something racist. xD

    But yeah, if I turn on the TV today, and he's on stage singing that, first I'm getting my eyes examined, then I'm coming back here to download the demo :P

    I don't know about that. They'd have to be one INSANELY good modder to make it so that you could record the character actions in a scene so you could go in later and zoom and move the camera around. I mean...wow.

    But, in the off chance that it DOES happen, it will probably have the most machinima videos of anything on youtube. :P

    Wow...how the hell long did it take you to draw that? xD

    Well, that seems like a good idea, but how long does it take you to set that up? I mean, you're gonna have to do it miles in advance, which means they can't turn off of that road before then or you're screwed, right? Or was there an objective that said the enemy WOULD be coming down that road?

    One of my favorite things to do in GTA4 was basically screw around, or shoot a bunch of dudes, and then take all the scenes, use an in-game scene editor, and pretty much make a movie out of it.

    Can we expect anything like camera controls for the purpose of recording smoothly.

    I only ask because it seemed like people were able to switch to the views of AI in some youtube videos.
