I have one question: Is it possible to import buildings from games like GTA, Simcity and others into Arma2? Personally, I'd like to have more civic buildings in the game :)Illegal.

Other than the obvious problems these seem great other than one thing. Do you plan on making the LMG/GPMG use both sights instead of just the front when you ironsight? That's my only real complaint.

Yeah after you do the clean textures you might just put some scratches and dirt on 'em a bit. Looking absolutely great though.

So, I downloaded CAA1 earlier, so I went went into the editor on Sahrani, placed some guerilla pick ups with PKs and off roads with DShKM, placed my as a A-10, and went to preview. Took off, flew about, got to the pick ups and notice even though I could get a lock I couldn't see them at all. Considering I have the draw distance booster mod on I found this odd. Flew closer, still couldn't see. Flew closer, within 500m, still couldn't see. Flew right above them at about 50/100m and SUDDENLY they pop in when I get RIGHT ABOVE them.
Took the draw distance mod off, tried the same in Chernarus, tried without any mods, and every time it did the same thing.
I'm using the latest beta also.
I assume this is a bug. If someone else can replicate this I'll put it up on the bug tracker.
Sorry if I'm durrrr and this is a common problem or somesuch

I just realized how terrible flashlights in Operation Arrowhead will be with this lighting system. Argh.

What's the status on these babys? With the announcement of Operation Arrowhead these just became all the more useful.

Just happened to me too :banghead::banghead::banghead:I was 30 something percent along, when my crummy internet went out for a while... Steam just reset the download... now I'm at 2% again...
oh, just to clarify... there's no such thing as a 9GB patch... it's just that during the first gig, the percentage seems to be off... when you reach about mid-download, the percentage looks right again... go figure...
well, here I go again... 4% and counting... :icon_ohmygod:

I'm almost positive it's not resetting, just resetting the counter. I've had this happen many times in the past with other games.

Took a while, should be accurate. Tested against human targets using space bar for range - so should work perfectly.

What do you mean with slot limit exactly ?
Nevermind that, I'm a moron. Didn't realize ArmA 2 limited the amount of slots a Corpsman can have.
And by slots I meant ammo slots. Playing by myself wanted to be able to carry full gear and heal but I guess I'll just have to make do.

nuggetz, the restriction is in the i_common.sqf file.
d_player_air_autokick. Set that to 0 and you should be good.
Also, I haven't read the entire thread but I looked and looked in the .sqfs etc and I'm wondering how to remove the slot limit on certain units?

Probably related to that one odd bug in ArmA 2. Get in a AH-1z and spam every hydra really quickly and it should produce the same effect if you're near where they impact.

Your video card is far below minimum specs. No way in hell ArmA 2 is going to run well. The rest of your PC is still far below what I'd think you would need to get ArmA 2 to run decently. In fact, I'd be surprised if you could run many games made this year well, and ArmA 2 is much more intensive than most.
