    AI Discussion (dev branch)

    Using no mods. AI cross bridges on foot or in vehicles. No commands given. They also drive around objects/obstacles including players and other AI very well. Tested for an hour today. Smashing!

  9. Same here. Having the same problem with my Saitek X52 pro joystick and windows 8.1 and Arma 3. Anyone switched to windows 10 to see if that helps? Update. I have just installed windows 10 today. Then reinstalled the latest drivers for my x52 pro followed by playing Arma 3 with my saitek X52 pro for several hours with no issues. Looks like windows 10 resolved the problem. :)
  10. I have just reinstalled arma 2:co and the DLC again on steam. With it I decided to install IFL:44 Gold Edition off steam. Plus now I am running it with all my favourite mods for arma 2. I just posted here to say that there is nothing wrong with either the patches or the conversion process. Hope this helps.

  12. Dear All, I have liaised with, Col. Stagler, whom has made an original coop mission pack for IFL:44 and he has given me permission to convert and upgrade these to IFA3. I have made a start with the SP/Coop mission, IFA3 CO10 Blood and Honor, which I have released on my steam workshop. (See below) Summary The conversion to IFA3, included the following additions: I have put in new versions of the F3 mission framework; Added in a IFA3 German Forces only limited Virtual Arsenal Crate; Added CH View Distance Script by champ-1; Increased performance significantly by implementing ZBE_Cache AI & Vehicle caching by zorrobyte; UPSMON Updated to ArmaIII by Cool=Azroul13 Revive script. In particular I have used PsychoBastard's Arma Injury System (AIS) which allows any player and AI to revive a player if they are not too badly injured to be fatal; In the mission start-up parameters the mission admin can choose mission parameters e.g time of day, weather, AI skill, also choose from 3 different radio TS3 plugin systems: Radio options include: Default BIS; TFAR; ACRE; ACRE2 Mission admin, can from the briefing screen, choose a range of Zeus options if needed. This utilses the F3 Zeus Support component which is a collection of functions that make it easier for advanced users to designate themselves, or any player, as curator ("Zeus") using the debug console. In particular I have used PsycoBastard's Arma Injury System (AIS) which allows any player and AI to revive a player if they are not too badly injured to be fatal. In addition, I have added in a restricted IFA3 US Army Virtual Arsenal System at the starting point. Enjoy and again as always I am happy for this mission to be hosted or linked to another site. Further details of the missions as follows: IFA3 Co15 Op Tenacity Revive Required Mods This mission requires that you have the Iron Front and the D-Day DLC mods for Arma 3 (either full or FREE lite versions) installed to play this. This mission uses Omaha Beach map. Tasks Your tasks are to move from the FOB area to clear the 4 forward locations of enemy forces. Then move to the village area to destroy enemy assets. Including 3 PAK40s, tank and a radio mast. In this CO-OP/SP mission, you play a US 15 man combined arms assault team, operating in the Omaha Beach area in 1944, fighting German forces. The team consists of a 9, 2 & 1 man US Army squads. Resources In addition, there is a sherman tank, with 2 playable slots, which infantry can ride on the back if required (under high command if needed). There is also a 1 man flyable P47 support aircraft, with service assets near its airfield. (under high command if needed) Furthermore there is a 2 man playable mortar/artillery team, whom also have access to a towable anti-tank if needed. (under high command if needed). Lastly, there is a 2 man sniper/spotter team, for recon' purpose and elimination of HVTs. Enemy Enemy forces consist of elements of Waffen SS and Heer, are operating a defensive strategy in the AO. Expect upto 2 companies in the AO, with an extremely well defended area around the village, including 3 PAK40 anti tank guns, several MG42 nests, mortar, entrenched infantry and a tank of unknown type. Support It's important to note here, that only leader, of Sadist squad, has Zeus control of Iron Front in Arma 3 assets only and has radio support control of artillery if needed. Also, please note that at the spawn start, players have the option of para-dropping into a selected map position if needed. Revive When players die, I have used PsycoBastard's Arma Injury System (AIS), which allows any player and AI to revive a player if they are not too badly injured to be fatal. In addition, I have added in the vanilla BIS Virtual Arsenal to a weapon crate.   21. Hi All, I have just updated my coop mission, IFA3 Co14 Automatic Drive, with the latest F3 mission framework, UPSMON AI, ZBE cache and CH View Distance scripts. In addition, I have removed the virtual ammo system scripts by TONIC and added in the vanilla BIS Virtual Arsenal to a weapon crate. Lastly, I have removed the ability to respawn back at base.
