Your biggest mistake is thinking you have significant knowledge about how software works and how a game should perform given its features and content. Your questions demonstrate otherwise and your attitude, rather harsh and insulting. It is good to be skeptical, I understand that, I've been burned a time or two, even after the community convinced me the game that I was buying was great. However, you need to be mature about it or be ignored as a troll. ArmA 2 is unique. There are people that think it is another FPS like COD and others that expect it to be an in depth sim like DCS-Blackshark and both groups are disappointed because this game strives to give you the full experience without being too complicated or being a simple arcade game. The engine also allows for nearly no boundaries on customization. All of that comes at a cost. A lot of people have issues with performance because they have unrealistic expectations as well as refusing to believe that issues are not on their end. Most have always played the same type of games and thus do not have experience with how different game engines can behave differently on their computers. Just because a manufacturer puts out a new driver does not mean that the driver is good or works well with all games. Sometimes older drivers work better, sometimes people fail to realize conflicts or limitations on their systems that result in poor performance. This is not to defend BIS where their product is lacking but to point out that you cannot have a system that is perfectly compatible with every game or more accurately, every game cannot be compatible with every system. Other developers try to hide issues with their products while BIS tries to take on those issues and improve their product while also allowing for a wealth of information for current and potential customers to decide if they can run this on their systems or how to fix any issues that they might have. You will see these threads here because they do not lock, delete or ban in order to keep everything positive on their forums.

I see what you mean, I have to say I have seen that once or twice but it wasn't necessarily in the crouch and it has never been a problem for me. I play crouched quite often as it is the best stance to use in a tactical sense. I even tested on Utes after your last post and didn't really see a problem. There must be something else involved with this issue other than just the stance.

Maybe because a lot of veterans play this game and have no desire to relive the worst parts of being a soldier.

Also, nowhere did I defend the game's bugs (mentioned bugs in the first or second reply to you), dead men should not be able to tell their team mates where you are. Talk to any game designer and you will find that you are wrong. Many threads are co-dependent and cannot afford any delay between them even though on the surface they appear to be unrelated. If the threads cannot be rejoined at the precise moment they are needed, the game will crash.

I notice the movement but personally can't see any misalignment. I do find it odd that it would sway more crouched than standing. Don't forget to hold your breath.

Abrams is a bit overpowered I think, watch them get pummeled by rockets and T-90s and decimate the opfor afterward. Doesn't always happen that way but 9x out of 10. Why are people hanging out at the base anyway? IIRC you can relocate as well. The real problem I see with this kind of thinking is the assumption that someone could not find the base on their own (though I'm sure some tards will side switch to kill you). Honestly the reaction is just as childish as the behavior that provokes it. Better to kick those that commit the offense rather than just anyone that happens to switch sides for whatever reason.

This is true, I've noticed that some players may have a low ping but they are sucking up major bandwidth. People need to realize that ping is just the speed of the connection between player and server. If someone is sucking up the server's bandwidth it reduces the bandwidth available to update other players and packets will bottleneck.

Add artillery ammo, it will give the user a surprise :D

Have to agree, it gets to be tedious trying to cleanup after the wunderkind destroy a server and many times an admin is not available to reset.

My comment was intentionally ambiguous because I am unsure whether his comments are facetious or they reflect his world view (making him ignorant). And I really don't have a desire to make this thread political and off topic. If anything though it easily provides amusement at the thought that someone with that kind of world view would be playing war games.

Someone could make a Santa mod. Have a sleigh addon and the goal is dropping gifts like GBUs that make the opfor friendly.
