Never played via lan, so I can't offer any advice. Is it jerky on the host or both?

Some mods may cancel out others, I've had this happen. First, confirm that each mod works separately. If they all work separately try diff combinations to see what doesn't work. Also, why not combine them into a single mod folder. For CBA addons I add the CBA mod right into the same folder. Saves clutter and typing.

It may indeed have something to do with the video drivers, I've had issues with Vista and nvidia drivers for several games.

Although the tone of the OP is not really proper for the troubleshooting section, I don't see how saying you enjoy multiplayer helps someone with an issue with the campaign

My biggest complaint atm is the net code. Pings and desynch are very poor compared to other games with dedicated servers (in my experience at least) but I really enjoy it and it runs rather well on my system. My only major problem is that my friends either don't own it yet or don't have time to play. Most of them being from Australia (I'm in the US) is a hindrance as far as pings go and since I am already a member of a 'squad' from another game it would be somewhat of a betrayal to get involved with a different one here. Especially as I am responsible for administrative tasks for my existing group. The fact that it is the major downside to this game speaks volumes for me as I'm a picky fella. Great game.

No, I have no idea what you are referring to. My attitude is inquisitive and also argumentative but you are using an ambiguous term to describe content that you find objectionable while also pouring out this air of moral superiority. You are nothing like me and never have been, and this is obvious to anyone witnessing our exchange. I am asking you to define the terms you are using in a less ambiguous terms. Adult Content can range from voice overs of dirty jokes to full blown bestiality, not all of which is acceptable to everyone that voted yes to the survey. You speak of depravity in Fallout 3, which I have not played but all I can find about it (google) is nude skin mods, cartoonish gore, and a mod that allows the children in the game to be killed. The nudity and Gore is sophomoric IMO, killing children, well it depends. If an individual just wants to murder children in a video game over and over. I would call that depraved behavior but if it was used for realism's sake to keep others from hiding behind children (even applying some sort of penalty for it), that is very different. For a person to participate in depraved activities, they would already be depraved and so I do not see any consequence in doing so in a video game, it probably keeps them from doing it in public. Your argument or point seems to simply say we are all going to hell if we like to look at boobs, that is my assumption since you refuse to clarify exactly what in your view is depraved.

More specifically it asks if it were made, would anyone use it. Personally, I never found it to be necessary to begin with, but to each his own I guess. But as mentioned above, the patches changed nothing in that regard.

Well quite actually, they are the reason that many places become battlefields. I think it opens up possibilities for some interesting campaign mods and stand alone missions. For squads into realism, having a purposeful scenario can add to the ambiance as opposed to ,most missions where the only goal is to kill stuff. Yea just click new and host your own server, you can set a password to keep it private and he can find you via the in game server browser

because the latest version is 1.04, just might be the problem

It's not a system problem, I've recently been experiencing the same issue, I haven't got to play much lately but wonder if it is a bug with the latest patch

could be the servers, what's your ping. Also, the netcode is relatively lousy and doesn't allow for good ping times to distant servers. Edit: I see a post oyu put up last week about losing internet. You may wish to consider that your modem is bad

That's not really indicative as clearly not all DR players have xfire. It would be more accurate to say that this shows game ownership/activity of xfire users but it registers when you boot the game and does not indicate whether they are playing online or not. It makes sense though because DR is pretty much a BF2 clone and will attract more users than ArmA 2 which is a niche game. So what you are inferring is that a 1000 player per week increase of individuals logging to a server is evidence of increased interest? Please note that not only do people change their names (whether you can fathom their reasons or not) there are people every day that are new to the game and are bound to log into the largest server running at least one time. Assuming that the server stats are not refreshed on a weekly basis, this tells us that 1000 new names log to the server per week but does not indicate how many of those players are retained as return visitors. We can assume at least 1000 players return regularly every day on the low end and 5000 on the high end: (3hr session = 8 sessions per 24hrs x 100 players per session = 800 players per 24hrs) (30min session = 2 sessions per hour = 48 sessions per 24hrs x 100 players per session = 4800 players per 24hrs). So twice as many people have visited the server than actually play on it regularly.
