I've tried cpu-count, ex-threads, physX, vertical sync etc. etc. Ive never noticed ANY improvements in terms of FPS after each patch. I'm getting 20-28 FPS on normal to high settings. Should I expect more? My specs are: i7 920, GTX 260, 6 Gig ram, W7 64-bit. My HD speed is 7200 rpm. Is that the bottleneck? Any suggestions?

When playing the campaign. As tank commander....the mission to help some civilians with militia attacking from the north. I jumped back to desktop suddenly. The game is there in the background but i cant return to it.Happened to me again. This time when zeroing Humvee gun....pressing "page down"

cpucount=8 seems to give a lot of people very bad performance.The best solution (for Arma2 and a lot of other programs) is to simply disable hyperthreading.
I thought that was exactly the same thing as setting CPU count to 4?

That said vegetation lags the hell out of me as to cities to a lesser extent. I have been getting crashes since I moved to Windows 7, usually preceded by visual glitches and artifacts.
Now I have been desperately looking for ways to increase my performance enough to play at my native 1920x1200 resolution. What do you guys suggest I set my ArmA2.cfg settings to? Any idea what is causing my crashes?
Video memory set to default? Try change it to high...it MIGHT help.

HT off.. But it wont do the difference between stutter and no stutter. Basically, if A2 lags, you need a better computer. Most likley a better processor/hard drive...I wish it would be that easy....

Exactly same problem here. Reinstall did nothing. Was running good until last update of six-updater.Thank god im not alone. w7? hope it will be solved soon
