Hi I cant get SLI to work with Arma 2, I have tried the EVGA SLI enhancement exe but it didnt not add Arma 2 to my list (it did add arma 1), as a result of not been able to run SLI my performance is not what it should be. I have the lateast Nvidia drivers, anyone have a suggestion for how to get the SLI working?PS I have the steam version (anyone know when it will be patched?)
What list are you talking about?
Start by enable "SLI visual indicator", and of course SLI, in the nvidia control panel. Then start the game from within steam. If you use a custom shortcut (to arma.exe) it wont work. That should give you some green bars to the left of the screen, showing SLI workload, when the game is started.
Other SLI users, do the bars fill up completely for you!? Mine is like utilizing only 10-20%, indicating not very much work is being done, is this normal?

I just put in a GTX250 with a better power supply. I did not expect much after reading here about the game being CPU dependant but I wanted the upgrade for other games as well.
Hey, have almost a similar system. Did the same thing change from a 4850 to a GTX 260 and wow. FPS still around 16-30 for me but everything feels so much smoother.
Edit: I tested SLI, same FPS, but game play feels less smooth

Hi guys. I'll try doing a few benchmarks and then posting, but, truthfully, I don't care what the numbers are....as long as it plays smooth, I'm a happy camper. Before, it would chug like crazy, even when I lowered the settings, but now I can keep them on high and get to business. :)I'll post the test results ASAP.

Thank god there are still people that are not hung up on numbers...

I agree with him, gameplay feels smoother whit only one card, even if FPS is the same!
