could you tell me.... If im not using ANY AI would these settings improve our server ?

This is great info guys, and im grateful (and im sure most admins are) but lets not Diss the one bunch of guys that up until now have been the only peeps to actually try and help us out (us= useless admins like myself) without them I would have still been on stock settings.. So thanks Kellys heroes.. going to try these new settings this evening..... Thankyou very much for these...

Are you running your game in Combined ops ?

If they put those DLC's onto disc the price increases, cost of CD/packaging/transport/retail cut etc etc.... Keep it at DLC OP as the someone else said, you must have someone in your life that you can give the cash to and ask them to sort it for you buddy.... if not get out of that computer room and get a tan.... :) only jk bud.. hope you sort it.

We play 90 % PvP .... CTF, Dm whatever.... no AI, The lag u guys speak of must be down to the AI, YES occaisionally we get a lag spike on server (myabe I should turn off AUTO UPDATE LOL ), OR maybe one of the russian players might jump a little (and I do mean only occasionally) majority of the time we play a very enjoyable game, its possible the server you are playing on is at fault, or maybe your own setup, TRY playing with your GFX options.... dont try Ramping all the settings up, somthing has to give NO matter what super setup u have... bring the settings down a few notches, try it out and see what you get, the likes of WALKER aint on his own, there are many many peeps who actually dont get the lag u guys speak of, so is it slightly possible that its your setups that are the problems...... NOT sure if you guys that are screaming LAG have been around much, but im guessing that the more VET ofp/arma/arma2 guys have either just learnt to live with it, OR (more likely) have learnt to set their own machine up a little better (mostly down to gfx setups though).... Anyway, LAG or NOT, I enjoy the MP side and wouldnt be playing the game without it.. .. Have fun.

unlikely to be the beta..... wouldnt have thought it was eyefinity either ,, are us sure u havent changed any files ? cause some servers will auto ban on diff. data.

I guess we are lucky,,,, due to the fact we play 90 % ctf most of the players that join are vets of the game and its VERY rare we have to kick anyone,,, I think our ban list has about 5 members in there lol.... OUR server has been running since Arma2 came out so it cant all be bad :)

oK we havent had any problems with this,,,,,,,,,,but tbh its run smooth with us from the beginning EXCEPT for the error that happens when a few mmembers dont upgrade weps.... I thought the OP was stating that he cant patch to 1.57 directly,,,,,, (assumed he had already tried) Raymond have u actuallly tried the patch ?, If so, is it correct for your copy, I believe theres a differerant patch for the Steam version.

welcome to the game buddy,, hope you have some good times with it,,, regards to the patch, sorry but not sure which patch you require first.... im sure someone will inform you asap.

I use full version,,, that shouldnt conflict at all buddy.

TBH.. I wouldnt like to say, the fact that it is a Steam version, I have no idea if they are correct or not..... you need to compare with a clientside install that is also steam.... (unless yours is)
