Ooh an idea, how about if enemies surrender, they become your slaves/workers and you earn more money/grind cows quicker etc??or how about u can exchange them for cows etc with the other side, and if they refuse u can just cap them in the head.

It didnt give me an option to unzip it. it dl'd as a 7z or some shit not any sort of unzippable file and ive re-dl'ed 4 times

the enemy puts up mortar bunkers and i go to take it down and theres nothing there, ever.

Good concept, iron out the bugs and it should be realy good. When I put up bunkers they never get fully secured.

i DL'ed but cant figure out how to get it to show up in the missions. I put it in my missions folder and that didnt work so i threw it in the basic arma 2 folder and that didnt work. please help

Ok, to start off I have read a few guides and I'm doing decent, but one thing I am confused about is objectives.
I have a mission I am creating with marines assaulting a town held by russians, I have one trigger in the town that is triggered by opfor not being present, and it worked. Once I kill the opfor that objective is completed. However, I have a second objective to move to an extraction zone outside of town, I havent tested that one but we will see.
My questions are: How do I let the player know what the objectives are? I set markers but they only appear on map and not on the UI while in game. How do I get the objectives to show up on the ui while in game? Also, how do I setup the order of triggers/waypoints. How do I set it to where the player has to first clear the town and then move to the extractone zone to end the mission?

Ok, I'm new to scripting and such. I'm trying to build a basic mission of clearing a town. How do I add a briefing?Just something simple that says "The town of xyz is held by insurgents. Your task is to take your team along with the support of xyz team and eliminate them"

I play on very high, and when I put first aid modules on even one rifle squad, the game ends up lagging pretty bad. Any way to fix this? I turn the settings on very low and it still ends up lagging me so I just kept em on very high.

when I put camera.sqs in it says missing ; so i put in camera.sqs; and it still says that.
then i put "camera.sqs"; with the quotes and it said type string expected nothing

Okay, you know how you can drag people? Well, the only time I've been able to drag people is in the campaign. I've never been down or dragged or had the option to drag someone else any other time, ever. Is there a trick? Do I have to setup some sorta logic? I cant do it in multiplayer either, itd be in handy for when your hit in the leg.
Also, I posted this in the editing forum but no response yet. Does anyone know how you can free roam spectate battles you make in the editor?

Anyone know how to specate from the air? I set up a battle 2 squads vs 2 squads, I wanna watch it. I saw a youtube video of a guy doing just that, howww?

Keep in mind I dont really make missions, I just setup battles. I'm too rookie to make missions.
EDIT:
I now figured out how to get my squad into the rafts, however I cant get in. Im a rifleman, part of the squad and it simply doesnt give me an option to get in period. It only does if I spawn a raft get out then I can get in, its weird. Any ideas?
Double edit:
Sometimes I can get in the raft sometimes all it will let me do is browse gear and rearm... now I can't figure out how to get the rafts to stay in place so my squad can board them. They just drive off.

Ok this can be confusing so ill list my problems.
1: Im trying to have an island fight, 2 squads of marines and 2 squads of russians on the opposite side of an island both have seek and destroy waypoints on top of eachother. I want to spectate this but dont know how.
2: I was trying to create a seaborne raid. I wanted to make 3 squads of infantry board a bunch of CRRT's or whatever the little raft boats are, and go invade a peice of land defended by some russians. I had it setup like this:
-Waypoint move to near the boats, then get in nearest near the boat, then move to the ocean, then a get out waypoint near the shore, and a search and destroy waypoint on land so they would go invade. However they wouldnt board the boats. They did one time but I dont know why or how etc.
3: I want to play around with ambient combat module along with others. I don't know how to use it though. Do I just create a rifle unit, setup a patrol route and walk along?
I think thats it for now. Yes I have read guides, but their all for arma 1, and im very rookie.
