Can't see MY dedicated server! :(

Thanks for the replies everyone! I got it FINALLY to show up on the list! The only problem remaining is now it WON'T let me join. It says, "Connecting failed" :( Any more ideas? Oh also for my router is the 3800HGV-B provided by AT&T. Thanks for the help so far guys! - Legato ---------- Post added at 06:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:36 PM ---------- YAY! Mosh was absolutely correct, even if it's your client computer, you need to be OFF of DMZ mode to access your server inside your network. Thanks so much Mosh! and everyone else too! Hope this helps someone else as well!
  2. I've been looking around the forum and can't find anything related so here's my problem, I can't see my dedicated server in the master list/LAN/ or remote tab! My second computer is the dedicated server and my first is the client. Everything as far as the server goes is PERFECT. My friends can join, random people can join off the master list and http://arma2.swec.se/server/ reports it up and running well. I just can't see it within my own network (and therefore I can't join and PLAY!). I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm on full DMZ mode so I should be fine as far as the router is concerned. Any suggestions guys? I'd take anything! Thanks, - Legato
  3. Hey community, I've searched through other threads and haven't quite found anyone else with the same issue. I'm currently playing around with a dedicated server for ArmA 2. It works fine, people can see it in the master server list and can join too. The problem is when I join into my own server (on the same computer), it will freeze periodically for 15-30 seconds every other minute or so. I'm not quite sure if this is a bandwidth problem or a CPU related problem. My specs are fairly decent. CPU: Dual Core Athlon x2 @ 3.1 GHz VC: Radeon 4870 1Gig RAM: 4Gigs DDR-800 OS: Vista x64 (using latest arma2 dedicated server .exe) Bandwidth: 2.78Mbps Down 784kbps Up Now, while running the dedicated server, I average 30-40% load and when I load the ArmA 2 client I go up to 80-100%. I'm not quite sure if it's a CPU issue or a bandwidth issue, or perhaps I just can't run both on one computer. Additionally, it only happens when there's me and someone else on the server, if I'm alone, it appears fine. (Also, I'm on full DMZ mode so router/firewall isn't a problem) Thanks so much! ` Legato
  4. Oh lawd, what's a 4channer doing here?
  5. Yeah, it makes it blow up right when you set off the trigger, we want the actual 2 minute countdown.

Thanks for such a quick response! Your right, the revive works perfectly, if someone revives me, I still have all the commands in my menu. It's when the, "Main Base" button pops up (no one was close enough to revive me in time) and I click it to respawn at my base is when I lose all my commands such as artillery and heli extraction. I played with 2 others The Revive version is : 1.4x (Revive able Players - AI disabled) No J.I.P., We all started from lobby.

Hey guys, if anyone could help me on this I would appreciate it. The map co@20_HighMountains_ACE_1_86 (maybe your familiar with it?) has Norrin's revive script and respawning (back to main base) in it. After I die and respawn, I can no longer call in artillery support, or extractions from my helicopters. How can I solve this? (My guess would be the respawned player no longer has GL3_Artillery_ID = this;, and GL3_Extraction_ID = this; in it's init field) Much appreciated, - Legato
