It would be nice if they gave us some information regarding a console version, other than wasting our time trying to work out whether there's any intention for a release. I've emailed them but no response, doesn't look promising.

It was merely a rumour which I reported, nothing more to give substantial believe to reports of a cancelled version - I certainly didn't read any more into it than that. :)

I'm hearing a rumour that any plans for an Xbox 360 release have been cancelled - this would be incredibly sad news if true. http://boards.ign.com/operation_flashpoint/b6090/181752166/p1/

Firstly, why is this thread still here? Extremely depressing that we're given false hope when clearly Armed Assault isn't launching for the Xbox any time soon, and if I'm honest, most likely never. It would surprise me if we happened to end up with an Xbox version, given the current problems with the PC version and the struggle to find publishers globally. Footage on YouTube claiming to be the Xbox version is complete nonsense, it's just the Xbox controller being compatible with the PC version on a powerful rig. In conclusion, there's been no concrete proof of a console version, even though we had the "TBD" notification on the bottom of the official ArmA II page, which soon disappeared as the PC version was released. Screenshots or videos claiming to be the Xbox version, at this stage, are simply direct feeds off the PC or even screenshots which were released when it was in development. I think the moderators need to consider removing this thread completely until there's some correct information on whether there's any plans for a console version, which if there ever was one, would be at least sometime next year. Look's like a lot of console owners will be disappointed and have no chance but put the money in Codies pockets when Dragon Rising releases later this year.

Surprisingly I've had this one in mind from the very same website, http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-154-OK&groupid=43&catid=1080&subcat= I just need to know whether they're a reputable, it's potentially a lot of money I'm putting down and if anything goes wrong then I'll be severely disappointed. However, thanks for the recommendations.

Could someone give me a rough idea how these settings would handle ArmA 2. AMD Phenom X4 9750 Quad-Core processor (2.40GHz, 2MB Cache) Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium 4GB DDR2 800MHz memory 512MB ATI Radeon HD4850 graphics 640GB SATA hard drive (7200rpm) Thanks. -
Explain your reasons why and suggestions for improvement.

I'm happy to use the keyboard, mouse and flight stick when necessary but I was wondering whether Armed Assault is compatible with an Xbox 360 controller, or could anyone recommend a specific type of controller which would be beneficial when playing? Thanks. :)
