Im guessing you have an ATI card now ? i remember having the fan turnt up as it used to get quite hot it looked nice the exterior of the card and i remember it was very heavy and crossed over an extra bay on my motherboard :) but it just wasnt to be i tried allot of games and still had the same response on 64bit and 32bit windows xp and vista :p

i had a radeon 4870 x2 , and i had no end of trouble with it i purchased it when it very first got launched and stuck with it for a while, drivers where very slow from ATI/AMD which was expected.
But my overall experience was terrible i ended up having to return it, my system kept constantly crashing and my rig was like 3 weeks old so....
i changed from ATI to Nvidea and i haven't had 1 system crash since unless caused by me. I had Nvidea previous to buying the ATI and ill never go back to ATI there forums where littered with peoples cards failing and crashing and they never responded to any posts, my 9800GT oc is awsome i would reccomend an Nvidea card to anyone.

someones awnsered that question and NO is the awnser it doesnt rain in building anymore or supposidly under big trees which to me would give an awsome feeling when its raining hard and me and a squad or me on my own take to a big tree for time out.

i wonder if you could land the jet vertically and have a cow and pig jump on the jets wing and slowly take off vertically get right into clouds and let the pig and cow jump.

thanks cool advice im hosting as soon as i get word back from a few sites ive mailed they said they have to run server loads etc , so when thats complete i should be up and running with a server and i hope to have it running pretty smooth going to take some tweaking but should be all sorted in no time [fingers crossed]

Quite simply a stunning film drilling into planets and detonating a black hole , im 3 seasons into star trek voyager out of 7. and i thought x-files was deep lol star trek voyager is superb by far the best episodes ive seen around.

cheaters worry me a little but will not stop me from having fun. im ex BF2 so never seen warping before unless i strapped c4 on someone and pulled the detonator, but bf2 got molested with hackers hence the reason i quit along time ago sadly. all good tho -

i think its going to be fun firing a massive tank shell 1 mile and hitting a cow dead lol or what about dive bombing a heli into a cow lol .... just a wicked thought

Again another great thread by Litos, some people would like it and some wouldnt but id love to have my camera of my character shake when a jet Roars past just feet above my head not shake to the exstent of becoming annoying but yes little thing like this add the wow factor that people look upon as a highly class part of a game.

AI is fine with me as ill be playing loads of PvP and co-op, ill accept the AI for how ever good or bad it is graphical detail more than makes up for it,

man all the games out on consoles are very restrictive, killzone, socom , there is nothing that will might up against ARMA2.i have a feeling that ARMA2 will be the next battlefield2 the ARMA community is absolutley awsome, im thankfull of its development as ive been wanting a game of this criteria for a long time and now its here.

depending on how well they cater for a dedicated server, until i get my hands on a copy and intergrate it with our control panel the yes is "pending release, testing, and load testing then pricing"

awsome sounds i like the way when its shutting down the engines it runs quite a bit before actually shutting off, im a professional music prodcuer and really appriciate this thread as sound/music is a huge aspect of making a game.as simple as this thread is i really appriciate what its displaying.

i can only give you personal advice from my previous experiences i just feel that Nvidea are slightly better with the card drivers, the Nvidea cards are reasonably cheap now so , i mean if you never liked it then you could possible get an ATI 4870 but each to there own, handy thing is check the reviews of the card from a few shops before buying so you can make sure that you get the best card and value for money.
