well.. if youre just using regular ArmA2 without OA then FLIR isnt going to work like "proper" FLIR. its basically just some filters to fake it. -

what part of "In a game, in an alternate reality, in the future" doesnt give creative liscence for the SCAR to be standard issue? You know, its pretty funny. If the standard issue in OA was the M4 / M16 series, some people (probably the same ones?) would bitch and whine that its just the same as in ArmA2....

where did you get OA? it helps to know which distribution method you used and what version you currently have.

uh huh.. that happens when you use the beta patch... always did for arma2 betas also. -
if you shoot at a target that is closer than the range the weapon is sighted in for, the shot will very likely land above the reticle.

place the satchel. a: if you want to remote detonate, move away a safe distance. b: if you want to have it on a timer, look at the satchel, and choose "timer +30 s" or something from the action menu. repeat till you reach the desired time. get to a safe distance -
there were dogs in arma2. THEYRE LIKE FREAKIN TANKS.

lol ^^ but the other guy explained it a bit better, basically the "hands" and the "weapon" arent really the same "model" like in CS:S - and indeed every other FPS that i can think of off the top of my head. Its animating two separate things that should "play" together which makes it complex.

in CS youre animating just a pair of hands and forearms in first person view. in ArmA there is no separate first person view, i.e. youre animating something that is linked to the whole body.
