    Hi all

    Since latest release of maps i cant edit them any more usally play edited version of dom ai on lan.

    But after copying all files over from the original mission into my new mission.sqm then i pdo it copy it to mp missions i try and load it up and it closes arma2 and i get message saying the mission name then common.sqf not found.

    I checked the original mission for common.sqf file thinking i missed 1 but cant see it in xeno version either yet all his missions still work iam stuck:(

    My pdo tool not working properly or some thing.

    k good to hear..taking ages to reinstall about 70% complete atm so fingers crossed might fixed it 505 version comes with 1.01 right? can i go straight for 1.03 or have to install 1.02 first

    infact i dont understand why should be doin any of this bollox i had 1.03 any way really annoeyed

    oh noes:( might be the new card then? fucking hope not £400 down toliet well reinstalling it over the old version atm hopefully it work i dont see any other guys with the gtx295 saying anything about this thow

    yea should just told him to leave it my fault but ill try reinstalling it over the game see if it works another thing i notcied coz it said patch default bla bla bla i thought id try installing 1.03 again but get loads of errors pop up addons animals aircraft ect :confused: what i see him do was copy arma2 exe type some thing else in it then deleted it or some i duno :(

    k reinstalling now over the top of it bit pissed with the fact i cant reinstall thow and just start over bet get same stupid errors

    hi all

    arma 2 fried 1 of my 8800gt just bought my self gtx295 got pc man round to install it every thing working tried loading arma2 up and pc bloke fucked around with few things tried to get it to work with out the cd in it and now it wont uninstall or load up when i use add/remove programs and try and uninstall it i get this message !!!MISSING STRING and when i try to load it up i get this message no entry .'profilepatch default'. and then this ...shaders not valid (mismatch of exe and data)what the fucks he done really want see arma2 run with my new card:(

    running windows xp

    intel® core2 Quad cpu

    q6600 @2.40ghz

    2gb ram

    gtx295 190.drivers

    Ok fridai i figured it out go to the mission you want to edit unpdo it copy contents of folder to my documents arma2 profile missions load up arma editer edit mission save in my missions.

    Go back to my documents arma 2 profile missions and there should be new mission.sqm there copy everything in the origianal mission folder to your new mission.sqm all except the old mission.sqm.

    Now copy the contents of your new folder to main arma 2 directory mp missions then pdo it and you can play your version on lan:bounce3: hope this helps ive been trying figure out how to do this for weeks but just kept getting the run around in all the differant forums:eek:

    And thanks ripper thats sorta the clearest anser i got

    Am having a problem adding the Mi-28 new mod to the Domination east AI, dunno what am doing wrong this exactly what am doing ,

    In editor am adding the Mi-28 with this init :

    handle = [this, 120] execVM "x_scripts\x_vehirespawn.sqf"

    I press preview in editor everything working fine i save, copy to mp missions , i start server and opps scripts aint running, no mission no nothing. What am doing wrong?

    Realy sorry for my bad english am trying my best.

    thats what iam stuck on now i managed to find my edited mission but all ive got is me the helis/jets/mhqs etc at the start no mission to play i tried copying all xeno files into my new mission and pdo it but still cant figure it out:(

    Help please what iam doin wrong iam playing xeno map on me own got pdo tool managed to load xeno map in editer and added a attack chopper/harrier at start give my self abit more of a chance i then save it export it to single/mulitplayer missions then log out that leaves me with a mission.sqm in my documents/arma2 profile.

    I then copy paste all xeno files into my version ive just made all except his mission.sqm and then create a pdo then place that in arma 2 missions folder with rest of missions ive down loaded from you all and restart game but its not there:( every thing else is there apart from my modded version :confused: help please be great if i could get this working speed things up and give myself bit more of fighting chance:rolleyes:

    you can save game mate if u playing it on lan etc on your own but be warned once saved and logged out next time u play and some of your choppers /mhq s get destroyed they dont resparn for some reason. And if your playing dom A.I and the A.I barracks gets destroyed then thats it you lost it and it cant be rebuilt i always leave few AT solders there to protect it;)

    hey iam currently playing xenos dom map on lan trying take island alone i can fly every air craft /heli etc np but when comes to bombing runs iam useless cant hit any thing i just got the harrier kitted out with six bombs i know it helps if some 1 was on the ground with a LD but ive not got that option;) i was just wondering what sort of altitude/speed and distance from target do i release my bombs

    i know u not ment to drop them when ya over the target as they with miss for sure but i still cant nail it iam attacking pusta 3 bombing runs 18 bombs and killed nothing:o please any advice from the piliot aces would be great :bounce3:

    no its not that mate i know its ment be realistic sim but still game end day NVG as they are at the moment just not fun strain your eyes to much trying find targets not only that enermy dont seem to have same problem there still as accurate as ever

    ahh okies thought was just me for sec yea its bad just have to wait for ace 2 i quess i metioned it in mods thread hopefully some 1 thow us a quick fix :bounce3: i was just playing domination single player at night was in a tank at base and was being over run by enermy armour and i could nt see them at the bottom on the runway i got owned so thought ill come here and cry about it:p

    hey hope this bug and not just me but using nv goggles at night is complete nightmare for me cant see any thing if i zoom in i just get a face full of black screen i remember in ace u could toggle NV auto enabler or some thing and it would fix the issue every 1 else got this problem or just me:butbut:

    hey after few hours playing the game exits to desk top and i get error:divice freed any 1 know how i fix this is it some thing to do with secure rom maybe:confused:

    hey peeps loving the game atm iam playing xeno domination map with A.I but whats really annoeying me is the amount a soldier can carry i mean carrying the javlin and not being able to carry a gun is just lame how iam i ment blow the towers/HQs etc up take soldiers out if icant carry any thing else infact its kinda stopping me playing iam just getting owned all the time GIVE A.C.E 2 where u can stick a bag on ya back put few satchels in there and few spare mags load ya self up with AT lauchers x3 and away u go and try take city solo

    if there is away to carry more already and ive just missed it let me know :)

    ahh ok thats because i was an arti/op soldier forget this post althow still be cool if arti/op soldier had more bag space

    hi all can any 1 tell me how i use the chopper service please for instance at start mission i want to use the helicopter to transport us to the base we all mount and he says welcome to taxi service or some thing but then how do i get him to move us all to where i want to go
