Well I guess they won't be doing it because I'm looking at some of the screenshots... The game looks like it's halfway done already. So far the screenshots are epic. I'm Loving them. It will also cost less than arma 2 XD XD (just make sure you get rid of the major bugs before you release... so it gets better ratings and less headache!) -

Hmmm. Well everybody wants the sexy stuff in anyways. (the poll) What about the 100% real gore? That would probably give some people post tramatic stress. What do you guys think about the Gore? Awesome idea, then they can integrate it with trackIR... so if you lean in RL with the cover mode on... your guy leans also. That would be so awesome. -
Alot of nubs on the steam forums have made rant threads on how bad the demo was and that they won't be buying the game.. .blah blah blah I think i'd be a good idea to make the demo atleast up to date...

How about a marker tool that you can draw stuff with? Like arrows and keywords, then numbers to show which plans to go with first.. etc etc. It can all be done with a red marker. That would be awesome.

Is there going to be a functional FLIR system out of the box (everything has heat based textures) Jennik: Yes, there will be a FLIR system. We have one of the most sophisticated FLIR simulation systems already done for VBS2 and we will bring it in Arrowhead to fans of ARMA2 too. Will the game have Functional IR lasers (PEQ units) like in vbs2? Or Flashlights? Jennik: I'm glad to say: Yes, and yes. Is the terrain based on Afghanistan? Or is it more of a desert? You couldn't be more wrong. ARMA 2 wasn't free, we paid for it... so there is no reason why we need to be thankful. Thankful is for when somebody gives us something for free, then complaining is not right. But when you pay for something... you don't just give your $ away and shut up about things you think are wrong. You're what big game companies and movies want more of. Idiots that don't complain and waste their money on garbage. So future garbage will become even worse.

Spawn two groups of soliders, all human and place them close to differnt areas. Then who ever the map maker is can decide what vehicles and equitment they get. For each team... one leader is assigned and he will have to break the teams up into squads or fireteams and give them areas to travel and complete objectives... (Such as securing a village, destroying enemy vehicles, defending an area until more units arrives, etc etc.) And the part thats differn't about it is that you can only use the mic options like yell and whisper (so only people close to you can hear what you say) and when you're dead you can't respawn, like dod:s realism.. so people don't do stupid stuff. Then a HQ would be made.. so the commander has a place for all the troops to report back to. Since you can't just use radios, the only way to relay information is by word of mouth. Probably a tent or a building would be ideal for the HQ, then the commander can sent out recon teams and get a better idea of where the enemy is and how to coordinate attacks, and avoid getting shot by the enemy snipers that are sent to kill him (thats why he has to assign good gaurding posts for the guys around the HQ) and a bunch of other cool stuff. It would make great use of the compass and watch, you can acctually use the watch to coordinate attacks and meet up points. :D any ideas?

I had a question about the Multiplayer in ARMA 2?

I was looking at a game called operation flashpoint 2 and when i discovered that the multiplayer was AI and human i was instantly turned off. I was looking at ARMA 2 in the main website and it looked amazing, but i had one question.. Does it have AI in the multiplayer like OPF 2? Thanks in advance + i hope it doesn't. -

ARMA 2 is about realism, it is supposed to be a tactical simulator. I've seen a bunch of threads about stuff we need in the game like flashlights... fast ropes... stuff like that. Well why can't we just kindly and politely ask the game developers to give us what real life has. For example: If marines have flashlights in RL .. can we get a flashlight in the up coming patches? Don't marines fast rope too? Proof: ( ) Thermal vision? If the marine force recon use them then why can't we get it in arma 2 also? It would just make the game better. Pretty much what we are asking is... can we just get the stuff they have in Real life? Then the game will be complete. -
Doesn't the Sopmod M4 have a flashlight ON it? Why doesn't it work? Devs please put flashlights on the weapons in a new patch... It really isn't that hard i believe? Just stick the same thing that puts lights on the cars and put it on the gun... but make it come out of the flashlight.
