    I used to play this ame all the time then after various driver updates and game updates I now cant get any textures. Even if I change the video settings to high like they used to be on nothing happens.

    Nvidia 9800GTX+

    8GB DDR3 RAM

    ^^ So my spec is more than enough to run the game and it used to fine. Now its unplayable. Theres been various posts about this problem on here but havnt found a reply or fix to any of them.

    Please can you help me fix the problem or arrange for a refund.

    Why are people whinning... Because they spent money on somthing that isnt finished maybe. People want to play the campain not just keep having to create scenarios or whatnot. He posts a review on his experience with the game, if he has trouble with crashes and various game haulting bugs then why should he not reveiw it how he sees it. Also people keep saying its a huge step up from ARMA and OFP but come on people so it should be!! Dont be such a fanboy and respect other peoples opinions.

    Since 1.01beta the AI got much much better so to speak and is afaik now beyond Arma1 AI.

    This Patch has improved much - still a big shame the game got released in germany in that unpatched shape...

    Cheers for teh video. Did the enemys actuallly fire back at you though?

    The speech is rubbish (sorry I have to say it). I dont understand why there cant be a sound file for each sentance and not stringing words together at different speeds and tones. That sort of thing would have been fine 10 years ago but now you expect a certain standard from games.

    Dracon it would be prety pointles putting what the gun can do in real life then boast about the game being a simulater and having amazing bullet balllistics and then not having it in game :D

    Sabertooth so you can actually see the enemy in game at over 1000m? From what Ive been reading there only apearing at about 300m. Maybe Im getting the wrong end of the stick.

The M24 is accurate to about 800 meters but an experienced marksman can hit a target 1200 meters away."

    But if the enemy only have a draw distance of about 300 how are you possably ment to shoot a target 1200 meters away?

    In terms of AI, those videos are like night and day. The first one shows the AI not reacting at all when the player is 10 feet away. Yet the second video shows the AI impressively pinning down the player with suppressive fire. I have a feeling the overall perfomance is (or at least will be) closer to the one in the second video.

    Additionally the first video shows that tracked vehicles do indeed sway back and forth when they stop :bounce3: Great motor sounds, too.

    thats what I thought but I remember reading that tehre are different difullcty levels so teh dumb AI might be only on easy mode and the 2nd vid might be on hard/ realistic mode. I dont know though Im only guessing. I just want to shove it on the hardest setting and play the campain online with real people as I hate having to command AI friendly troops makes me loose all interest in games.

    Just canceled my pre order. I need to wait for it to come out before I make my descision now. I refuse to buy games from companys that dont release a finished game. When we buy a game we should be able to play it as designd and as advertised, saying patches will fix the problem is no excuse.

    I hope the game is ok as I had high hopes for it. Maybe if we could get an official comment on this reveiw :(

    Is it possable to have only voice come through your headphones and the rest of the game come out your speakers as normal (like the xbox360 mic). Reason for asking is I dont like having everyting coming from teh headphones because I cant hear people coming in the room behind me and scaring the runny stuff out of me.

    Just pre ordered mine from Game. £24.99 there if anyones interested. If you pre order at that price if the price goes back up before the release date you eill only pay the £24.99 and if it goes down you pay less.
