  3. i dont know^^ but triggers still work with airplanes which fly 500km/h or so i think. so there shouldnt be a problem with land vehicles.

  5. hi, i have a little suggestion for A2. it already annoyed me in arma 1 that land vehicles are not able to drive faster than ~120km/h without a script. it would be very helpful to increase the top speed for land vehicles. its also much more realistic because in real life most of the cars drive also faster than 120km/h^^ it just should be possible to addon makers to set the top speed higher. to write something in the config like "topspeed=200". because the maxspeed seems just to be for AI. and if there is no topspeed in the config it just uses a default value (120 for example). actually the same thing is with the acceleration^^ its only affected by the weight.. it would be really cool if you would change that in maybe Operation Arrowhead or any further update. greets

    wow sounds great! so will you release only the new gates in the next version? or will there be any missions inclueded?
  8. the model weight determines the acceleration but not the top speed. and i dont mean the speed limit for the ai. i mean the top speed generally of a vehicle. like aqu said land vehicles dont drive faster than ~120km/h without a script. i only want to know if that has changed in arma 2.

    the main mod is called Stargate: Challanged Empires. in generally they are making the stargates working. its very hard to script. some other people who dont belong to that mod are making additional stuff like ring transporters, ships, units, weapons etc... they already made some awesome stuff:

    as far as i know they are still working on the mod for arma 1... and they want to put it over to arma 2. but it will take very long until they release something... visit this page for more information.

  13. of course i tried it already... but i dont get it^^ i dont have photoshop. and i dont want to buy it. if i texture in O² like here then i get a message "no textures loaded" although i loaded a texture and selected a face^^ //edit: i also tried to change the path for texture from Z:\o2 to C:\ofpedit\o2.
  14. heres a update of my kart. thanks to Eble who added the turbo script and DeanosBeano for the textures! and here is my next addon im working on. a suzuki hayabusa! but it hasnt got any textures yet. i would be very happy if someone could do that for me.

  16. hi, i have a problem with the animation of the front wheel of my bike. when i steer the front wheel doesnt turn as the steering wheel does. it only rotates over the X axis. im not able to write configs because of that i copied it from a different bike... can you help me please?:bounce2:

  18. lol that would be cool:) the animals will probably be the same as the rabbit addon that someone released for arma. just with much better move animations etc. you can carry guns, drive cars etc.. there will just probably be no driver animation for the animals... or not yet:D
