Animation commands for clapping and LHD crew.

Alright thanks. Also, for this it's necessary to give each unit a name, right? -
Animation commands for clapping and LHD crew.
Litos replied to Litos's topic in ARMA 2 & OA : MISSIONS - Editing & Scripting
Thanks a lot, I did find the LHD Animations but after looking through a lot I couldn't find a clapping animation. I guess it's somewhere down there, but does anybody know it exactly? I've looked through lists and that. I guess I'll have to spend a lot more time looking for it, but maybe somebody already has the answer? Thanks. Also, to make sure with the code you gave me, is there anything else that I need to replace in the code besides yourAnimation and Unit1/2/3 (and chose between playmove/switchmove)? Because I'm confused by it, the _x in particular. Thanks! -
Wow... this guy is interesting. He's russian for one, and he made a veery nice video. I'm curious if he used actors and how he scripted all the animations, etc. I gotta try working with animations myself in my next video.

Wow, how ironic, I actually played that mission a couple of weeks back with my friend.

I think this will answer that question. As for telling units when to fire you can either use triggers, or you can film it multipe times, where at first they don't fire and then whenever you need them to, you go back, edit, make them fire automatically and film them again, just from another angle, it just wouldn't be so exact. If you however need it to be exactly at the same angle, get an actor :) Also, did anyone see my latest film? I posted it here but nobody seemed to notice :( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1FXGfXyBmU

Wow, I'm impressed. First of all it's great to see somebody else who can direct such a nice camera based movie. Second, I am very indeed impressed that you managed to very well film a dogfight. Lots of takes of course, but you took the time to do it. Also it is ironic that I was thinking of using that song for a video myself a week back, haha, but I don't think I'm gonna make that one. The only thing that I think you did wrong is the camera shake. It was constant and it was the same. I think you should vary them more, for example, make it only tense when the plane flies by or anything, while it doesnt it should be slow and soft. It also should have been slow and soft in the beginning where you were showing off the planes, and the slow music playing. I'm glad that I've seen this video, because it tells me that there's someone else besides our little group (Me/Benedict/Richie/Aykan) who make these nice, camera script based movies. I hope to see more from you, -Ed

lkruBCVuQW4 This is me trying to do the convoy scene for my super sniper project. Because it has to be in slow motion, I have to do it in single player. But it's sad. Just...sad.

ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead discussion thread

Wow this is awesome. For some reason I totally wanna try out some multiplayer infantry coop gameplay in a middle-eastern environment. -
I agree. I assume you mean having different people record the same thing from different angles. I'm aware of this way, but it can be tough setting it all up like you want it, and they'll have to send their recordings to me, and resolutions differences could be a problem too. At the end of the day, it might take even longer than restarting the server and filming the same thing again from a different angle. I've developed fair ways of filming things quickly.

Being able to record a game is actually something that has to be implemented in the beginning. Think BF2: it has that, but it always had that. BIS had no intention of creating a super video making-friendly environment whatsoever. And look at it this way, the game is about realism right? And in reality you have to film everything in real time, with multiple takes, until you get it right :) In fact its somewhat easier, if you had a recorded game you can't change anything anymore. This way you can easily edit a scene if something went wrong.

I wish we could but no, everything has to be done in real time with the camera sqs script. Place a unit, and a trigger next to it. Make it activate on radio alpha, repeatedly. And in the on act. box type player exec 'camera.sqs'; showCinemaBorder false You can also slow the game down by typing player exec 'camera.sqs'; showCinemaBorder false; setAccTime 0.05 you can type anything from 0.03-4 there. So you can slow it down and speed it up. Then in game just press 0-0-1 to radio alpha and then L to remove the crosshair.

Woah that was GOOD The first scene was just wow. Hey, you wanna join AMG (doesn't mean you have to drop Rising Wave)? PM me about it and I'll explain to you :)

That was a pointless video..

We're turning ArmA Tube into a video broadcasting site that will host videos created by the ArmA Movie Group. Which is a group that I've setup with a few other people. It's like a clan, except not an in-game one. Other will be free to join if they meet the requirements, I'll post more about this later.

Hey guys. First I'd like to say that half the reason I bought the game is to make videos with it. But now I realize the only place to share them is one miserable video thread here on the forums. So me and a few friends decided to make armatube. We're all well experienced in web design, so that's out of the way. I just wanted to ask if you guys think this is a good idea, and which domain should we use. armatube dot com is taken but the company that owns it doesn't use it, so we COULD ask them to sell it to us. The alternative would be armatube dot net. It's not arma2tube because it'll be hosting ofp, arma1 and arma2 videos. Another way is bistube dot com, but I think armatube would make the site much more relevant. Your thoughts?

Oh, richie and his racing. Oyman, where did you get the buldozer thing?

First trailer to my movie! 5d2QcCJaIcE Edit: also we need voice actors! We don't need a lot, only a few, and there aren't many lines but I'll pay $30,000 (not) to whoever is willing to help. Thanks!
