I don't like the futuristic stuff either tbh. I'd rather have an Apache than a Comanche any day...

i was wondering about the same thing just nowDitto

Looks great! I wonder what factions will be included :D

There seem to be images embedded into the screenshots. They just seem to be an overlay of each other

And on Jay Crowe's (RiE) LinkedIn it saysSenior DesignerBohemia Interactive
Privately Held; Computer Games industry
Creative Lead for Arma 2: Private Military Company
Senior Designer for an unannounced project

Evan Lahti: Why helicopters?Jay Crowe, Creative Lead: Helicopters are awesome and were always an important part of our games. That aside, taking on a clear focus is something that really excites us, but–in truth–it’s also a little daunting......
That's probably what the LinkedIn "unannounced project" is going on about (ToH)

Just had a PM from a user Kamran:
Hi,Who put in June 22 for Miller?
Edit was done by IP: 66.90.73.223
22nd June 2001 is "Flashpoint 1985" release date.
A webserver responds on http://66.90.73.223/ , maybe a proxyserver for anonymisation?
Kind regards,
Kamran
I went to search is post but go no hits :S
EDIT:
Only other visitors to his page are Dwarden (BI Dev) and Zipper (Mod) (and me)
Hmmmm....
EDIT 2: Why didn't he just post in the thread?

Someone has sat there all day with a countdown thing on their PC just to get a DOB of a fictional character, and we still, after nearly 12 hours are nowhere closer than we were yesterday...nice "hack"...
EDIT: @Darkhorse, calm down for gods sake, it a bloody game...
-
Guys all chill, and to be fair, its been a bit of an anti climax ffs!
-
Could someone quickly post some kind of update on what happened in hacks today? I had a massive French exam and then got home for like 4 hours of R&R.http://armaenigma.com/index.php?title=Wednesday,_May_11th_2011,_06:00_CEST

I think it's getting boring to be honest. Sure, when the Seeker thing is finished, we'll probably have some date like "1 May 2014 Outbreak of World War III" and still no idea what the whole thing is about. There is only so much days you can stretch something like this. I would have preferred to have it end on Monday already, one week after it started.
I have to agree, I know what they are doing is fun and everything, but I can understand some people getting frustrated. I mean having a community member drive 4 hours to find a "clue" now over a week ago and it is still going on (with no REAL hard evidence of anything). Plus, as some people think, this timer might go on til Sunday meaning that some will have to leave their computer on all day and night until Sunday? What would BIS do if none of us took part in the ARG?
-
If it does than I am going to just forget this thread, I can't seriously be asked to keep checking this thread for cryptic messages every two days.I'm hoping BIS will just reveal this expansion already. I say 'expansion' because If they are going to all this effort and waiting just for a DLC, then I'm not going to be impressed.
+1 Its been going on for long enough, I mean nearly 300 pages in one week? Come on BIS...

Enter code instead of "thecode" in the URL and it goes to the main Arma2 HQ page.cj
it does that witgh anything after arma2.com/_________________ though
-
right click image once downloded,
properties, summery, advanced, then under "creation software"

-

this whole treasure hunt becomes a paranoya, i'm getting bored with all this :(true story bra
-
Wow! I come home from work to all this?
FANTASTIC :D

Aha, synthesis of truth, this is probably the closest we've ever reached. With competition brewing, a major update will probably be done.I agree tbf, I think that the new tech that has been developed for TOH will hopefully mean an engine update for us! :D
-
I wont go onto all the fuzz about that youtube comment through, as it seems the creator of Outerra engine get some inspiration from RV engine, he might even be some silent old OFP player as well.Well he's been following this thread within the last hour as seen on the youtube comment so he must have some connection
Am I the only one who disliked the futuristic approach?

Yeah, not 2020
If Miller was born in 1992, and was a CPT, you will be looking at the game being set in around 2020-2025, not 2012...
